It depends on how you "count" -- 40 times 1000 times 1000 times 1000 is approximately equal to 38.202 times 1024 times 1024 times 1024.

Note that 2**10 is 1024, while 10**3 is 1000.

So, (1024/1000)**3 is approximately equal to 40(.000/38.202).

QED.

Xerox 4150 hard disk problem

First off you can only use a hard drive intended for the copier. Also when you put in the new one you will need the firmware fro the copier. THis has to come from Xerox. If you ordered the HHD from them it may already have it on them.

My passport is originally 250 GB but now it says that it's only 94 MB. I don't know what happened.

is that a free space and used space graphic? or does the entire disk(use start my computer right click on hard drive and see what total amount of space says)

if you have been using this for a while, that would explain the lower figure but this graphic will clearly show the balance on that drive

here's a link for a free disk optimizer that might help too

Can i upgrade my Ram and hard disk in my HP pAvilion dv4000?

according to the specs you can install up to 2 gb of memory and the manual states that a 100 gb hard drive was an option. not sure if you can go higher then that.
