Intel Computers & Internet - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support

Processors themselves do not have drivers - they are self-contained computing devices. It is the mainboard that they are installed in that has a chipset and peripheral devices (LAN, Audio, Video, Bluetooth, Wifi, etc.) that requires drivers. So, if you need drivers, you need to tell us what mainboard you have - the manufacturer, model number, and revision, as well as what driver(s) you need. Additionally, the Operating system installed will determine what drivers you need, so that needs to be included as well (Windows XP/7/10)

you will need to open up your network connections click start control panel network connections this may vary depending on your operating system look for local area connection if you see a red x or a yellow exclamation or question mark you will need to update or install the driver or it could be firewalled
If you are trying to connect through a modem/router the driver should have come with a disc provided by your ISP internet service provider or your motherboard disc
you might have to connect the usb lead to your modem to get a connection then
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to network adapters should see a yellow question mark? right click install drivers if you cant find the driver hopefully one of these will help you

The processor has nothing to do with your sound drivers. What you need are the integrated audio drivers for your computer's motherboard. Realtech make drivers for many different brand motherboards. Go to the computer manufacturer's website and download the audio drivers for your make & model computer. They also may be on a CD that came with your computer if it is older, although many companies don't do that any more.

The usual method of resetting any BIOS is to remove the backup CMOS battery (usually a Lithium coin cell) and then short the terminals for a while (e.g. a minute) with a wire. Then, when you restore the CMOS battery to the BIOS, it sees the settings make no sense and then sets them to default. I warn you that I don't know what an Artx Ultraviolet is, as it doesn't seem to return anything on Google. It's very hard to reset the memory in some modern machines, and more sophisticated motherboards have a reset button to restore default settings. That's all I can suggest without more information.

Best setting are the factory defaults in bios, because all hardware
and the o\s have been rigorusly tested, backup before trying new settings.check the intel cpu wether it monitors the load on its processor. most typically overclock at 40% load if you are into
gaming there are to many parameters. depending on your software apps like autocad, then more ram for virtual drive to place work in may help, 8 more

best to remove all ram and any hardware changes, replace original ram, also delete new opane drivers speakers and all peripherals. Also remove battery tap power button for 5 seconds.
reboot to bios and enter, select setup defaults. now you should continue to original splash screen.this may seem odd, but I have seen a mouse dongle left in and caused a trouble during troubleshooting. this is why as an I.T.TECH, I recommend removing everything, such as speakers, headphones, ext hdd
Otherwise check utube search .for intel optane
