I have a 320GB WD drive that creates an 0007B WinXP(SP3) error). I have done the fixboot MBR fix etc. but the problem is still there. I can read the data on the drive by using a USB interface. How

Perform a low level format ( do not confuse with a format) on the drive after backing up any stuff you want. This process will locate and mark the bad sector(s) on the drive that are responsible for it not booting up. When you reload the drive, these marked sectors are not used and the drive can be reloaded and it should work. Apparently, sectors in the MBR section of the drive are fubar.

How do i completely remove the recycle bin from an external fat32 drive?

Hook it up to your PC and look for any files that are not music files and delete them. If it won't delete, download a program called unlocker assistant. Once loaded on your PC it will delete any file even if it's in use.

Not Detected on PC

I found this on this site. in case you havent seen it. It worked for me. Try this:

When I disconnected my backup drive and plugged in a USB drive the other night, my Windows drive letters got all wonky. D: became G: became F: became H:, and a bunch of my shortcuts didn't work anymore.
But it's easy to reassign the drive letters of your choice to add-on disks in Windows. Microsoft says you should log on as an administrator, and from Administrative Tools in Control Panel:
Double-click Computer Management, and then click Disk Management in the left pane.
Right-click the drive, the partition, the logical drive, or the volume that you want to assign a drive letter to, and then click Change Drive Letter and Paths. Of course things can get wacky if the disk is in use - by your computer or another on the network - so proceed with caution, you drive alphabetizer, you.

How do I reconnect the WD harddrive to the Bell PVR with out losing what I have already transfer

It is very simple, just re-connect the device and restart the process for remaining data and simultaneously check if you have lost any data or not. If you have lost your data then you have to show your machine to an expert for Recovering Data from Hard Drive.visit us http://www.maidenheaddatarecovery.co.uk

I dont have permission to open my files

It sounds like you need to 'Take Ownership' of the files on your new computer - this is something you can do with a Hard drive formatted with the Windows / NTFS File system (You will need to be logged on with Administrator privileges on your new computer) - Connect your old hard drive to your new computer (using a USB interface / or directly via SATA / IDE) Open your 'My Computer' Folder using windows Explorer - Right Click the drive representing your old hard drive and choose Properties > Security > Advanced > Owner --- Click the Edit button and change the owner to the account you are currently logged on with -- then save and close the security properties dialog - The Next time you open the security properties dialog you should be able to change the level of access to "allow everything" - If this is applied to an entire Hard Drive and you choose to change the owner on all sub directories and items within them it may take several minutes or even longer with a large drive 500 GB / 1 TB etc...
