check if the cpu heatsinkl fan if fully tight. And try to apply the white paste( will be available in stores) on the cpu then seat the heatsink and tight it firmly

the regular speed of cpu's fan in Intel Pentium D series is about 2200 round per minute.

a hardware failure.
hard drive, video card and overheating inside the computer is most likely the cause of fatal error.

how did you come to this error? on what instance?

if you look more closely on the processor at the face where pin terminals are, on the 2 corner there is slot where no terminals (a triangle figure)
Its the same figure you will see on the socket of the motherboard where processor is attached.
use this corner orientation to place properly the processor on the motherboard.

If you have replaced the processor and have fix it then suddenly after a while the display in your monitor is gone, the video card in your motherboard could have come loose.
Detach this video card from the motherboard and reseated this properly.
Make sure also that the vga cable is fix properly on both the video card and the monitor.

Post back if you still have problems.

The overheating problem (ie. thermal shutdown) is most likely caused by a faulty CPU fan or dust clogging the CPU fan and heatsink.
Check the BIOS CPU fan speed could be set too low, check the fan speed/temperature setting.
If this problem is not fixed, then the CPU will eventually fail.
Check the fan to see if it spins freely, if not then replace the faulty fan.
If the fan and heatsink are cligged with dust, loosen and remove the dust and use a can of compress air to blow away the dust.

Replace your PSU then test all leads that are attached to your hard drive sounds like a faulty lead of some sorts then
try replacing all the leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions + IDE,SATA and the ones that attach from your motherboard to hard drive
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they are probably old and faulty because a computer has to have an end to the circuit any fulty leads will lead to no boot up

Here's an easy way to get or update your motherboard drivers:
You could try to use this driver scanning tool, which scans the computer for needed drivers and has an option to automatically retrieve them for you.

After you have downloaded the above file, double-click on it and follow the simple steps to install it. Then, when it asks if you want to run it, just answer yes. This is easier than manually searching, downloading and installing the drivers.

If, after trying the above, you can't get the drivers, you can try with the System Restore utility. To know more about System Restore, go to this link.

If you can't or don't want to use system restore due to any reason, re-installing Windows may be the only way left.

GTA IV is a very poorly coded game and has trouble running on even some of the best PC's.  Do you have 2gigs of RAM and 280MB free?  Either way, you will certainly need a very very good video card to play this game.  What video card do you have now?  Did the game work before you installed vista ultimate?  Is the game also pirated?  If so it's quite possible you downloaded a bad version.

see for paging file size...it might have been set to more than 1 gb

some high configuration as 4 gb ram can not support sp-2. there we can use sp-3. what type of problem in your compputer? it isnot clear to say solve problem
