Sunbeam Westminster Clock, model # 882-495. Clock was just given to me with no instructions. battery has been replaced and I'm trying to figure out if the clock is broken and no longer works or if I don't know how to properly set the time.
Move the second button from the left to set, enter the time in 24 hour format via the HH and MM buttons, then move the button to start. The far left switch, on/auto.off is for the chime. Set to on for 24 hour alarms, set to auto for no chime from 11pm til 6am, set to off, to turn it off.
I had to leave the far black left switch on or up,turn the white set /run switch to set..the far left hour is the 10 , the next hour is the 1, the next min is the 10, the far right is min 1.
when you want to set tghe clock time .press the button and count the chirp for the time..for 10: 36 press the far left button 1 time.. do not touch the next 1 hour button..: touch the 10 min button 3 time or 3 chirps.. press the 1 min button 6 times or chirps.. then set the set switch up or run..the chime should chime every 15 min.. and the hour should chime for te hour on the hour..
YES! Like BA said, inside the clock are switches. Turn one to OFF. Move the other to SET. Then push the H button the # of the hour it is. There are one (far left) and two digit #s (far right). I'd tried to fix this clock we bought for my mom and dad some 15 years ago.....finally the clock works again! Thanks BA!!
JUST PRESS THE BUTTONS ON THE INSIDE OF THE CLOCK WHILE THE MAIN SWITCH WAS IN THE OFF POSTION. ONCE THE HOUR AND MINUTE WERE ADJUSTED, THE MAIN SWITCH WAS SET TO ON AND THE CLOCK WAS TICKING.
THANKS.
the clock has a set button, turn the clock on and turn the set button to set, then where the hour buttons are there are two,one on the left and one on the right. When you completed the steps above,Press thesecond button on the right side of the hour set, then for each time you press it,the clock will adjust per hour.So press itonce and then press test,it should give u one chime, press two and it should chime for two oclock, press three times and it should chime three time, usew this theroy and it should be all you need, ofcorse you will have to use common sence. Thanks and good luck
remember for each time you do this u have to move the button from set to run for complete test.SO set to set then press one on the second button of hour, then turn it from set to start and then try it again.make sence?each time u adjust it you have to turn it from set to on then try the test after each adjustment.Good luck
