check The Transfer Belt or it can be the Black Image Unit . (P9 & P21 normally: black Imaging unit) but P21 can also be refered to Transfer Belt). ..

Sometimes just open the doors and closing them a few times will work its sensing somethings open ,Make sure all is closed you may have too reinstall drivers. start over read all directions sometimes we get burnt out on trying to get something going give it a break for a bit then try again. could be a firewall or anti virus cause problems to.

Are you using a 3rd party image unit???, if so get OEM there are chips on them that copier monitors. The image units are the units below the toner cart. which one is having the problem Y M C or Black, did you re chip them, bad idea. Replace them with OEM cartridge.

Most likely there is paper stuck in the very back behind one of the trays. Take both trays out and see if there is any paper jammed (could be a small piece). Put trays back in but leave them open, turn off the printer, unplug it, wait 5 minutes, plug it back in, turn it back on and push in the trays.

It is a fuser error.

Try resetting. To reset a Rank A error follow these steps:

1. Turn OFF the Main Power Switch.
2. Turn Main Power Switch ON while pressing the Utility/Counter key.
3. Touch [Trouble Reset].
4. Check to make sure that [OK] is displayed and the it has been reset.
5. After turning off the Main Power Switch, turn it on again more than 10 seconds after and check if the machine starts correctly.
If the error recurrs then do the following:
1 Check the Fusing Unit for correct installation (whether it is secured in position).
2 Check the Fusing Unit, PWB-M and PU1 for proper connection and correct or change as necessary.
3 Change Fusing Unit
4 Change PWB-M
5 Change PU1

Hope this helps. Make sure you remove the waste tank prior to taking out the transfer belt. Belt is removed by two screws inside right door and sliding the unit out.

There is no procedure to restore the admin password. It is possible to reset and enter a new password, and for that you will need a technician to make the adjustments on SERVICE MODE (stop,0,C).
