D60 not firing Paul Buff flashes by cord or wireless set up...

Hi I posted this problem about 10 days ago. I received some possible solutions but I just wanted to try a wireless set up bypassing the sync cord problems. I use Paul Buff Alien Bee's. I just got 1 transmitter and 2 receivers. Programmed them and they worked find using my D10. So I took out the D60 attached the transmitter and crossed my fingers that it would fire the lights. No Luck...I even tried the pc plug from transmitter to camera. Still did not work. When I took the transmitter off camera pressed the test button, the lights fired immediately. So now it seems electrical in nature. The D60 is due for cleaning any way so I guess I need to send it in for repair before I get busy this spring. Any recommended Canon repair Centers would be appreciated.
Thanks for all the help...Looking forward to hearing from all of you!

Hi, I posted few days ago with similar problem. I have nc6000 and problem was that I couldn`t thrun it on, the fan starts and orange light was turning on, than it all stops. I received possible solution from BlackMamba, but I did it before and it lasts for a few months. Now, I read about same problem on few blogs and finaly I decide to disassemle it an to find that famous max1987. I found it reflow with heat fan for soldering and guess what...? It works. I am not ready to celebrate yet, but I think that soldering max1987 is the real solution for that problem. Thaks. Bye.

How do i connect my les paul wireless guitar to my ps3

1. First of all, make sure the batteries are in the guitar.
2. With your PlayStation 3 console powered off, insert the wireless receiver into an available USB connector on the console.
3. Press and hold the PS button on the guitar to turn it on.
4. Turn on your PlayStation 3 console.
5. Press the connect button on the wireless receiver (not the guitar). The status light will flash, indicating that the receiver is searching for the controller.
6. Press the PS button on the guitar to establish a connection with the receiver. (You may have to wait for the receiver to stop flashing so fast. I think it flashes real fast at first, but then slows down.)

Also, make sure the guitar is assigned as control port #1.

I hope that helps.

Another thing that may help. Unplug all your usb cords that recharge your headset or controllers. Make sure the USB connector is the only thing pluged in and in the furthest left slot. That is what i had to do.

Wireless remote control

Select Release Mode from the Quick Settings display and choose one of the two remote modes. The Quick-response remote mode fires the shutter as soon as you press the button on the remote. The Delayed remote mode gives you two seconds to hide the remote behind your back before firing the shutter.

For full details, look at the "Releasing the Shutter" section in your manual (page 54 in my copy).

My built in flash won't fire in dark sceneries, it worked fine a coupl of hours ago. Every setting is in auto, Is it related to other setings? The camera works fine in bright areas except during the dark...

Hello

Thank you for using FixYa for your problem

Always check the batteries first but if is it still giving the same fault, your camera is faulty.
It should be taken to an authorized repair centre for a repair estimate. Very few digital cameras have any user-serviceable parts.

Please rate our solutions and if you still have problems please call back for more ideas to help you

Cannot find wireless network on Secondary computer

Try this, unplug the power from your modem, wait 25 seconds and plug it back in. Unplug the power cord from your router and wait 10 seconds.. plug it back in. Wait for the Wan/Ready/Internet light on your modem to stop flashing or go to its default position. Reboot your 2ndary computer. Try the internet again. If this does not help please post again and we will dig deeper! Good Luck!

AC Slave Flash - How make it works

A slave flash unit is a flash that has a sensor that fires the flash when it senses the burst of flash from the camera's built-in flash unit. Since many digital cameras fire the flash twice for each picture (the first is to set white balance and perhaps focus), these units are designed so they fire when the camera's second flash goes off.

To use it with your D60, just use your built in flash to fire off the slave flash...
