Take the camera to a specialist repairman! It sounds like the impact when you dropped it, (or when you straightened it), has damaged the internal parts and electronics.
My slr nikon d1500 camera has stopped working i
If it has been damaged by something you have done, then the warranty will not cover it, and repair will be expensive.I am a little confused, anyway - I can find no reference to a Nikon D1500, and the image displayed and title of your posting is 'Canon PowerShot SD1400 IS IXUS'. Do you actually know which camera it is that you have ?
Sd1400 canon camera error e32
Hello
The problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the
probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.
Use
these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.
Firstly ,
try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.
Try holding the
shutter button while switching on the camera.
Look at the lens ,
and if some of the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then
try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).
Try gently
pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may
cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.
Another
way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and
then power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to
not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and
down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the
camera is enough to get things going again.
Try hitting your
camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of
your hand.
Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair
center for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to
replace the camera.
If it is still under warranty I would suggest
you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any
off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about
warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories.
Hope
the advise is useful. Please do not hesitate to let me know if you need any further assistance.
Regards
Andrea
Why is my led screen blurry in low light before I take a picture?
It sounds like your camera settings have the( AF Assist Beam) on Off? That is the Amber Color light you see when you half press the shutter button. If that setting is set to OFF, then the camera can not focus in low light giving you blurry pictures as it can not see any light to assist the camera on focusing. If you turn on the (AF Assist Beam) to on, they when you press the shutter button half ways down you will see a Reddish/ Amber light, that light helps the camera find a focus point, giving you a slightly better low light photo.
Computer doesn't recognize Canon IXUS 130 when connected
Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use iPhoto or any other photo management program.
Canon powershot sd1400 says memory card locked
SD cards have a slide switch along one edge.
The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.
How do I reset a Cannon Powershot sd1400is if it doesn't turn on?
Try taking the battery out and wait a few seconds and then put it back in.....make sure the battery is full. and Place it on the back with the lens facing up and take a look at the spacing between the lens and the lens housing. If you notice that the gap is not even all the way around the lens, the problem should be easy to fix. This type of a problem usually occurs if the camera was dropped while the lens was extended. Simply - VERY GENTLY - press down the lens on the side where the gap is the biggest. You should hear a "click" as it pops back into place. Try powering the camera back on.
Thanks,
Satya
Canon powershot sd1400 is e32 error?
The problem is related to the mechanics in the optical image stabilization. There are 2 plastic ball bearings inside the shutter/lens module that can pop out of their round holders that are held in by 2 springs. This can occur by simply dropping the camera with the lens extended. I fixed many of these particular models and would not recommend an amateur attempt the fix as the complete lens has to be disassembled. A very poor Canon lens design.
Charge battery inside the camera
Sorry, you can't. The camera does not contain battery charging circuitry. You need to use the supplied battery charger or a third-party equivalent.
