The clock reads 10:30 am when it is 9:00 am how do i reset it

Weird, are you resetting the clock and finishing the setting as per your manual. Your navigation zone could be throwing it off, make sure you have correct zone for where you are. press the helpful button, and check video link below.

what do the boxes in the clock desplay mean and also i do not have an outside temp reading on the clock just inside temp and i do not know what all the buttons on the back of the clock mean and hou to use them the clock is a seth thomas sade weather station

Try taking the battery out for a full minute or two, then push the button on the back in your timezone. It should reset.

REmove the batteries and power for a few minutes. Then reconnect. It may take it a day to re-sync with the NBS standard clock.

Pull the batteries out of the clock, wait a minute, and then put them back in. That will reset the link between the two. The temperature should be OK in just a few minutes. The clock will read the wrong time and date until it resets during the night. The next day, all will be well.

Try unplugging the unit for 10 mins. Plug it back in and hold the CD in Button till it read "RESET"

I've had a similar problem with another model, an Oregon Scientific Model IWA-80055 Wireless Thermo Clock, in which when I replaced the batteries in the remote sensor, the clock would not read the temperature from the remote sensor.
I found it fairly consistent to solve this by taking a battery out of place in the clock and putting it back in.  Unfortunately this also messed up the clock's time and date.  This is also in the instructions catalogue for the device, check and see if yours gives a similar solution.
