You will need the user's manual for your machine to make sure that you are hooking the wires up correctly. However, most motherboards label these connections directly on the motherboard next to their pins.
Look for an area on the mother motherboard with two rows of six to eight pins. Next to them you should labels such as PWR_SW (power switch), RST_SW (reset switch), HDD_LED, PWR_LED, etc. You won't mess anything up connecting something to the wrong pins, but it isn't that hard to figure out as the wires are usually labeled in the same manner as the pins. So HDD_LED would plug into the HDD_LED pins, PWR_SW to PWR_SW, etc.

There is usually a set of pins on the corner that are labeled get a magnify glass and light up the board take the glass and look down on one of the corners it is usually on the right corner of the bottom of the board at the bottom of the desktop case. You will usually see a series of abbreviations. LED, HDD, PWR, RES or RE the pins are marked. Now on the wires to the power button you will see the same wire abbreviations. Just hook up the HDD wire to the HDD pin the PWR to the PWR button wire and so on. RESET wire is RE or RES etc. Those really are the only three you will need. Not sure of the exact abbreviations. But they are lettered enough for you to match them. The best thing to do is try to download the board specs and get a look at the pins one side is neg and the other is positive it would be to your best interest to find the mother board specs for you mother board since you went all over the internet and could not find the board specs. just match the LED and the others they are marked PWR is the main and HDD is just showing when the HDD is working. The hdd red wire gooes to pin #1 the hdd white wire goes to pin #3 the power sw orange wire goes to pin #6 the power sw white wire goes to pin #8 The reset sw blue wire goes to pin #7 the reset sw white wire goes to pin #5 the power led green wire goes to pin #2 the power led white wire goes to pin #4.
Now the layout of the pins is the long row (5) pins are the odd number pins 9 being the odd one and 1 is the other end of the row. 2 through 8 start at the pin accross from 1 : : : : . I hope this helps you.

Looking at the header JFP1, pins 1 through 9 (odd numbers) are the front row, pins 2 through 10 are the back. Pin 10 is the missing pin. The power switch connects to pins 6 and 8. The power LED connects to pins 2 and 4. The HDD LED connects to pins 1 and 3. The reset button, if used, connects to pins 5 and 7.

lok at the wire ends they are labled hdd and pwr sw and so om then use magnifyimg glass to look at mobo it will be labled nextto each set of pins to match the wires just plug them in

check on the motherboard there should be a small prints on it near control panel.

First of all these wires don't supply power to HDD. These wires are for indicator LEDs on the front
panel of the cabinet. One wire `power sw' is to switch on the system from the power button on front panel. `power led' wire is of the power led on the front panel. All these wires will be connected to the cluster of pins on one corner of the mother board. If you can see it will be indicated & printed near the cluster of pins on the mbd, that which pair of pins is meant for what connector. Try to correlate the names on connector with the print on the mbd.

The correct wiring plan for this computer is as follows:

Note : N/C = no connection, top row has no pin, bottom row has a pin but not connected.

when you plug in the Pwr Led and HDD connectors, a light should come on, if it doesn't , turn off the pc and turn the connector round on the pins, re -power on your pc.

pin no. 1,3 is for hdd dark color wire is 1 anothee is 3 (hd)
pin no. 2,4 is for power led dark color wire is 2 another is 4 (p_led)
pin no. 5,7 is reset you can connect both side (rst)
pin no. 6,8 is for power on power sw (psw)
