ND means no drain. You can remove the back panel to access the drain pump. Remove the hoses fron the drain pump and remove the clog. Watch out water will drain out when removing the hoses. hope this helps....

If the display is flashing "Nd", the machine is showing a no drain condition which is usually related to a backed up drain hose or a clogged debris filter.
The ND means no drain. My Samsung front loader allows coins and other pocket debris to get through to the pump jamming the impeller. ND or SUDS is the error message. I have to use a shopvac to suck the water out through the drain hose and open the back to get to and free up the pump, The pump is easy to get to and easy to remove. Be sure to unplug the machine first.

The usually reason the door remains locked once the cycle is over is because the filter screen on the drain pump is blocked so not all the water could drain out...the door lock is tied into the pump and until the pump tells the control board that the wate r is out the door will not unlock. Hi Zandra, Thanks for using FixYa. Error code ND means “No
Drain issue”. To start with you’ll need to check for any restriction in pump
assembly. It can also be due to a restricted drain hose or loose wire at pump.
If after cleaning the drain hose the issue is not resolved then it means the
pump has gone bad and unfortunately needs to be replaced. Please

Hello, the ND showing simply means "no drain"and it is probably just
something caught in the pump.It may be something like rubber bands,toot
pick,a bra wire,or a lens from a flash light.
