Press the Receiver button (and the lights will start
flashing.
Then if the Keyboard isn't working, press the small RESET/CONNECT
button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the
receiver.
If the MOUSE isn’t working, push the small RESET/CONNECT button
on the back of the mouse to connect to the receiver. Then they
should work okay.

try reinstalling your mouse/touch pad drivers, if that doesnt fix, reinstall windows after u backup ur personal effects, if that doesn't fix, chances are its a physical problem, if you have the expertise, pop it apart and get to the mouse pad itself, usually built into the top, check to make sure the cable is fully pressed into the connection, then reassemble it and try again.
How long since you've run the computer? Might it be processing and update like when it reboots after installing a service pack? That might be making the computer run slow for a few minutes. Give it a little time to get started and see if your mouse and keyboard begin to work.
open the Logitech utility and try to reconnect the keyboard and pair it with the mouse. if it doesnt work uninstall/reinstall the software for your wireless mouse/keyboard.
i forget how to connect everything
Same problem here. Mouse pointer is jerky and keyboard doesn't respond. Moving the receiver seems to help but may just be a coincidence.
