Probably your new keyboard is defective.

Ok this is generally caused by the "Frame Rate" usually for full motion video faster is better and about 25 frames a second will give OK picture.. with say 30 frames a second being better, faster means more CPU usaeage too. You need to use the program to "Set" the frame Rate. You could try my old Favorite Amcap here.http://www.freewarezoom.com/archives/amcap This will at least allow you to test stuff.

If the mouse refuse to connect, you should delete it from your Devices, then re-add. (for exact directions, Weldon Dube below has awesome step by step directions)

When it comes to paring, it uses the basic paring code of 0000 (4 zeros)

The majority of USB webcams are supported automatically under the UVC webcam driver, which should already be included.
Just plug it in and try it!

If you are still having trouble, I'll need to know what distribution you're using, and exactly what, if anything is happening.

I had this problem for a very long time as well. Turns out this is an encryption issue. It's off-balance. You need to reset the encryption, and here's how:

On the LEFT side of your wireless keyboard press and hold Ctrl+Alt, and press F12, then release all three buttons. Now push the Connect button on your Wireless Receiver, then the connect button on your wireless keyboard. Now press Esc. Try it. See if it works. It did for me.

1) make sure your mic is set as default
TEST SPEAKERS
Right click on speaker icon in System Tray or from Control Panel
Select "Playback Devices"
The speaker icon ( checked as working) and volume level graph should be visible
Right click on the volume graph and click "Test"
Left hand speakers followed by right hand should be heard

SET DEFAULT & TEST MIC
Click "Recording" tab.
To set required (webcam) mic as default - click on mic font to highlight and click "Properties"
In lower dropbox display "Use this device enable" click 'OK'
Click "Levels" tab and ramp up sliders ( adjust to suit later)
Return to "Recording". Test mic by speaking and make sure volume graph displays

Restart computer
2) Check you have DirectX 9 or later installed to support your cam
3) You may have to re-install the software - browse the photo gallery and click on your model - check out any known problems as well

Hi There,

I had exactly the same problem as this, and was able to solve it by turning off "secure mode" on the keyboard (which stopped it encrypting all the keystrokes) by taking the following steps:

1) Press Ctrl + Alt +F12
2) Press connect button on the receiver
3) Press connect button on the keyboard
4) Press escape key
See this post on the logitech forums for details:

Hope this works as well for you as it did for me!
Mark :)
