DOOR ASSEMBLY & HINGES
The door assembly is reversible. It contains an inertial vibration damper comprised of a steel plate suspended with springs. The
damper is designed to tune out excessive vibrations generated by the machine during the spin cycle. Replacement inner door liners are
shipped with the vibration damper in place.
REMOVAL
1. Open the door and remove the center screw of each hinge secured to the inner flange of the front panel in the door opening.
2. Grasp the door with both hands and lift the hinge area slightly. Draw the door assembly away from the machine. This will disengage the hinges from the slots in the
front shroud (Figure 5-1). If the hinges bind, press out on the plastic shroud near the hinge toward the cabinet.

REVERSAL
1. Repeat the above steps and, remove the corresponding sheet metal spacers on the opposite side.
2. Remove the hinges from the door and relocate them to the other side of the door.
3. Remount the door into the new slots and secure with one screw into each hinge.
4. Mount the sheet metal spacers onto the side where the hinges were previously to cover the hinge slots in the front shroud.

A Door Lock Error occurs if the door cannot be unlocked. It will try to lock it 6 times before displaying the error.

• Door Lock Mechanism broken or removed from the Door
• Check Door Lock/Switch Assembly
• Check the wire harness connections to the Door Lock/Switch Assembly and Central Control Unit (CCU)
• Door Lock/Switch Assembly Failure

you must replace the moter control boared it comes in a kit with the moter--aso strongly suggest you inspect the machine control board for burns if so replace

The doors are reversabe they go from left hand open to right hand open. Just reverse the hinges, put the door fillers ( triangle shape go toward the front. Remove the plug put it in the other sidel. Now take the metal door strke and put it on the other side, Then take the filler from on side and put it on the other side. Takes 10 to 15 minutes to make the change.

No need to purchase another door!

Yes you can reverse the door on your washer.
Open the door, remove the screw in the middle of both hinges, (carefull not to drop them inside). Lift the door straight up and "wiggle" the door hinge straight out of the slot.
On the opposite side of the opening you will find two inserts, remove them and install them into the slots you removed the door from. Now the fun part... remove the hinges from your door side.
Make sure you note how they attach, now intall them on the other side of the door,EXACTLY, the way they were first installed. Do one at at time. After you have them on the other side and you put the other screws back in the side you removed the hinge from, lift the door and slide the hinge into the bottom and top slots of the washer opening. Secure the hinge with screws removed in the beginning making sure the door is closing properly and locking.

Some of the new front load washers develop damaged hinges from too much laundry detergent..With that said, when you close the door..does it close easily or do you have to work it in? Try using your knee against the hings side to 'nest ' the door when you close it.. .. Also.. take a good look at the gasket material for any abnormalities or tears in it.. Hope that helps...

To convert a gas dryer to lpg. Undo door hinge screws, lift door and hinges, door should come off. opposite side of door opening remove 2 screws opposite form door hing side. Now the front panel will pull off front the top. Ease the top out and the bottom is just sat in two hooks and will lift out. Now your are in.

Remove the door hinges and plastic covers on the unused hinge screw holes on the opposite side of the door opening (door is reversable, so there are places to mount hinges left and right). Front panel will now snap out at top and lift off lower spring clips. One screw on each side will now release top panel and it will hinge up. Prop up with broom handle or something. Now you can get at everthing. Rubber gasket is held onto drum with a cable loop and very strong spring. It rolls off the lip easily to disassemble but is VERY difficult to get back on without special tools or at least two people. We used strong vice grips and much struggling and sweat, and #@*&%!&@ and finally got it on without damage to the new gasket. Door side of rubber gasket is easy in comparison with rubber tabs inserted into slots and working the gasket into a groove. Hose clamp at bottom of rubber gasket to connect drain hose.
