Error C2555 is displayed and the yellow toner in the Sub-Hopper is very low. I have already changed the Sub-Hopper Assy, Yellow Dev Unit, Drum Unit, Toner Cartridge Motor/YM (M6), Toner supply Motor/YM (M8) and the FREYB board. After changing these parts it works for a while then the smame error message returns. Any ideas
if it;s not the bottle home position it may be you toner happer motor...clean it and try to take the bottle our and close the door and than put bottle back in
hope that help
The drum and the black printer cartridge are two separate items. You will have to purchase a new drum for it. I just had to do the same thing and it ran me $150.00 at Staples.
If you want to use the toner cartridge after the printer decides that it's empty, you can do it by going into the Machine Settings in the menu, and option 8 (at least on my Magicolor 2590MF) says "Toner empty stop?". Just change that to NO, and you're set to go.

Code: C2555; Description: Abnormally low toner density detected yellow TCR sensor. When sampling data is determined in TC ratio calculation control, TCR ...
E020 The path between the sub hopper and the developing assembly is clogged with toner.
0000 The developing assembly toner sensor
detects the absence of toner, while the
sub hopper toner sensor detects the
presence of toner. With the developing
clutch turned on, the hopper feedscrew
motor is rotated for 1 sec intermittently
194 times; still, the developing assembly
toner sensor does not detect the presence
of toner.
Replace the developing assembly toner
sensor. Replace the sub hopper toner sensor.
Replace the DC control PCB
Dear in most cases if toner refilled (or the life of the hopper assy.)the worm gear of the hopper assy. worn out. so the sensor at developing assy.detect no toner flowing to the developer from the hopper assy. where as the hopper assy. sensor detects toner. check the sensor, If you have knowledge enough to dis-assembly the the hopper assy. check the worm gear connected to a small motor driving toner gear. clean the sensor( may toner got inside the windows of sensor, clean it). check the harness, check the DC_CON pcb. Note if no experience donot open hopper assy. take assistance of trained engineer. Thanks.
You did not post the model number. I assume it is a larger machine such as a MP9000. The SC495 is a clogged toner hose from the cup to the toner sub-hopper. If the toner system is not clogged it is a bad toner pump, or sometimes it is a bad toner sensor on the sub-hopper or the cup on top of the auger from the toner bank. If the hose is not clogged and there is toner to the top of the sub-hopper then it is one of the sensors. They are identical.
you have two different models listed .Well for the Di 450 _CF033 error Description: C0F33.
Solution: Check
to make sure that the ATDC value noted after running F8 was entered as
the "set" value in the Adjust Mode. If the ATDC "set" value was correct,
check the connections between the PWB-A and the ATDC. To check the ATDC "set" value follow the procedure below: 1. Enter the Tech Rep. mode. 2. Press the stop key and then the start key 3. Select printer. 4.
Select ATDC reference value. The current value should be close to 5V
and the set value should be the same voltage setting as the current. If
the value is found to be at "0V" the ATDC setting was not set properly
when new developer was installed. Note: When installing new
developer, make sure that the toner hopper and sub hopper are empty. If
not, extra toner may be added at the time the ATDC reference value is
set (during F8 process). This will cause light copies. please send more feed back on di 183 problem
These is error code related to toner station trouble. It could be toner sensor fault, broken parts in toner hopper,... the book says: E020 The path between the sub hopper and the developing assembly is clogged with toner. 0000 The developing assembly toner sensor detects the absence of toner, while the sub hopper toner sensor detects the presence of toner. With the developing clutch turned on, the hopper feedscrew motor is rotated for 1 sec intermittently 194 times; still, the developing assembly toner sensor does not detect the presence of toner. Replace the developing assembly toner sensor. Replace the sub hopper toner sensor. Replace the DC control PCB
How about this, Take the developing unit out and take the ATDC sensor out and plug the hole up in the developing unit. Reinstall the developing unit and cheat the front door switch and plug the sensor back in and hold it in your hand and make a copy. Dose it vibrate? If it dose not the sensor is bad... If you really get tired of working on the problem and you don't go to the copier to often and they are not billable, try this.... Take the top cover of the dev. unit and spoon toner into the dev. unit till it is almost full and reinstall it and clear the error code in service mode and just remember to add toner in to it every so often.
Did you change the Magenta stater/ developer? A E020 code is saying that the toner desity is low. Try replasing the developer and run the ATDC for Megenta and see if that helps. You may have a problem with the developing ass'y it self. You may be able to take another colors dev. ass'y with the hopper open and see if the code goes away. The sub code 0124 means that it is the Magenta dev. ass'y

"Please Add Toner" is displayed even though the toner bottle is full. The ATDC circuits have been checked and the main and sub hopper motors are good.

[Solution]
CAUSE: Inside the sub hopper, the magnet (P/N 9326-2900-06) may be catching on the inside of the hopper, preventing proper actuation of the Sub Hopper Toner Empty switch.
SOLUTION: Make sure that the actuator can move freely up and down when no toner is in the sub hopper.
