Cannot great folder

Every folder on your C: drive that contains any picture will contain a file named 'thumbs.db'.
So, close Picasas.
Open "My Pictures", and then open the folder that contains the picture.
Click 'Tools".
Click "Folder Options".
Click "View"
Change the setting to "view hidden files".
Delete that 'thumbs.db' file.
Change the setting to "hide hidden files".
Re-open Picasa.
Picasa will rebuild that 'thumbs.db' file.

Check for "mail-processing-rules" ("when the XXX field contains the text YYY, MOVE the message to the DELETED ITEMS folder").

Setup a new MSN/HOTMAIL ID, on a different computer, and see if messages to that ID get routed to that DELETED ITEMS folder.

Try using a card reader to download your pics to a folder you create on your desktop. Then, double-click the folder to open it and from the menu on the left, choose to view as a slide show.

Thanks Everyone.. I fixed it with ther help of a great person.. DONT BUY THE PROGRAMS THAT CLAIM TO FIX ... All I did was the following:
Rename the Folders.dbx file:

1. Click Start, point to Search, and then click Files or Folders.
2. In the File name etc type, type folders.dbx.
3. In the Look In box, click your primary hard disk (usually drive C), and then click Search.
4. Right-click the identified Folders.dbx file or files, and then click Rename.
5. Type folders.old, and then click OK.
6. Start Outlook Express. This creates a new Folders.dbx file automatically.

Just change .dbx to .old That is all that was required.. RENAME!!! Not buying programs that dont work...

When I opened it the folders were a little messy.. but that is fine when you consider I felt that I had lost the program and all Emails stored. Problem only occurred after a suggested compacting of emails by the program.

show Hidden Files option is missing from folder option...


In windows explorer, when i go to "Tools" , "Folder Option" and click on the Tab "View" and under the "Hidden Files and Folders" it only shows "Do not show hidden files and folder" . The option for Show hidden files is missing

3) Save as fix.reg ( make sure to give the extention as fix.reg



4) Double click on this file and click yes when prompted.






5) Issue is fixed now. see the prof below.

Just Navigate to HDD>>Applications>>QuarkXPress 6 folder and create a folder by the name Preferences with P in upper case and now launch QuarkXPress.
