The F5 E2 alert indicates the washer can't engage the lid lock because there may be an obstruction in the lid lock area.

Please check the lid lock area and remove any objects in that area. Also verify there are no clothing items in the way.

Suggest giving it a few more minutes. Washers usually have a door-open delay at end of cycle (for safety). If it still won't open, please let us know.

Sturdy little door, isn't it? Make sure you don't have extra water in the machine, as this will cause the door to not unlock. With that done,unplug your washer. If you can get the top of the machine off and reach down the front of the washer, you should see the latch mechanism. Push this down. Door should unlock. Now. Buy a new latch assemby.

The lock solenoid on the door latch assembly may be hanging up or just noisey. If washer starts and runs then all is ok. If washer wont start, just buzzes, then door latch assembly may have to be changed.

Buzzing sound is probably door trying to lock. May just need a new door lock.
