Your fan has stopped working. You need to either replace it or see if your defrost timer is working.

SOURCE: There is a water leak inside the freezer

You need to remove the bottom two baskets, or more to make space. Using a hairdryer, defrost the back area. You should be able to locate a drain hole in the center below the freezer coils. This drain hole is connected on the outside to a drainpipe which has a p trap and often gets blocked up. You need to force water down the drain hole. You can use a turkey baster or similar type of plunger filled with water. Once you have cleared the blockage pour hot water till it runs freely. Hope this sorts your problem, don't forget to rate me.

If freezer is icing up, you might have a defrost problem. Frost free models have a heating element that is controlled by a timer to automatically defrost ice, ie defrost timer turns on defrost heating element every 12 hours to melt ice in freezer and allow good air flow.
You can test defrost element with an ohm meter(located inside freezer coils-will have two wires going to a plug connection), if OK replace defrost timer (located in various places depending on make and model clean drains

Freezer turns of in cold weather

Many residential refrigerator / freezers are designed to work at temperature considerably above above freezing. Most modern refrigerator / freezer have a single electric thermostat - located in the fresh food compartment. This lone thermostat will control the compressor to keep the fridge (fresh food) section at the desired temperature (usually between 34 - 38 degrees F). The freezer will get colder regardless of how cold it is already whenever the fridge thermostat turns the compressor on.

Now that you see how the thermostat works, let's look at what happens when the fridge is placed in an unheated space - like a garage. In winter time, the temperature can drop considerably below 38 degrees. If the outdoor temperature remains cold enough, for long enough - it will affect the thermostat in the fridge. The temperature inside the fridge could drop below 38 degrees, preventing the thermostat from telling the compressor to turn on. Meanwhile, the temperature in the freezer compartment slowly rises from the normal -10 to 0 F degrees. It will continue to rise until it is the same temperature as the fresh food compartment or until the thermostat in the fresh food compartment tells the compressor to turn on again. This means the freezer contents will thaw.

If the temperature in the garage is even in the 40 to 50 degree range, the loss of cold in the fridge may not happen often enough to keep the compressor coming on often enough to keep some freezer items frozen solid - such as ice cream. Remember, water freezes at 32 degrees F, other products may require lower temperatures to remain frozen, and could thaw at 28 or other temperature.

Good luck!

Samsung RF267 water tastes terrible. Filters changed twice and not helping

If new plumbing, system is flushing and may cause a bad taste or odd color.Has a food item spoiled?
Make sure that strong smelling food (for example, fish) is wrapped so that it
is airtight.
Clean out your freezer periodically and throw away any spoiled or suspect food. Place foods in airtight containers to prevent the transfer of odors. And also Flush out water hose from tap end to freezer with warm water And also clean fridge with wet cloth (with soap solution). And then clean with dry cloth. .Keep fridge door open after cleaning all compartments for 4hrs minimum, as fresh air could wipe out any bad odor in fridge. And then start using fridge. Hope, it's helpful.

KTL15V20 fridge not maintaining cold temperature

first buy a freezer thermometer and place in centre drawer on top of food check after 24 hours to confirm 0f/ or -18c/22c sound like you dont have a problem..(air temp in freezer is sometimes warmer than food. this is what keeps the ice off the food/packaging and off the interior of the freezer.

Temp inside fridge is 46degrees. Besides

46 degrees is still below normal room temperature so it seems that the unit is cooling....you do not mention whether it is 46 degrees in both the freezer and the food compartments.....if the freezer is still cold...say below freezing or near zero but it is hot (46) in the other part of the refrigerator then there are probably 2 possibilities:
1. The small fan inside the freezer may be stuck and not spinning...they seem to go bad or at least stop spinning regularly on many freezer compartments. For most designs the fan must be running to circulate the cold air inside the freezer and also send some of the cold air over to the normal food compartment. When these fans shaft get stuck they will often emit a high pitched noise if they are able to turn at all. Of course if not turning t all then there is no sound. Determine if the fan is working....if not you will probably need to replace it and problem fixed. If the fan is working then look at the design of the plastic leavers etc inside the unit that control baffles between the freezer and food compartments. It may be a simple matter of sliding one of these controls to make it colder where the food is stored. some of them also have an electronic control for this so look for that knob and turn it to colder...not the actual refrigerator thermostat but one that controls what they call "balance" between the freezer and food areas.

Fridgedaire Elite frost proof fridge part not cooling, Freezer sems fine

If the frozen side is colder than normal and some extra frost is forming where the fan blows, and there is ice in the bottom of freezer compartment, and the cool side is not cool enough, their is a good possability the defrosting unit is not removing all the frost and ice . the defrosting unit has a timer (usually near thermostat) that turns off the cooling fan and compressor and turns on a small heater around the evaporator ( about 20 minutes every 2 days) (evaporaror is cold heat exchanger coil inside the back wall behind a cover near the recirculating fan0, the fan circulates air to both compartments through two small openings, if these openeing are closed by ice buildup cool air can not circulate to the cool side. cure 1. remove all food and leave fridge off for 24 hours with doors open (take precautions to ensure children can't get locked in side and suffocate, if you get a qt of water in bottom of unit (may leak on floor) ice buildup that the defrost heater can not remove melted and was your problem . turn frig on replace food on unit. cure 2. turn frig off, remove food from both sides, remove shelves that block access to evaporator, remove cover over evaporator if you see the evaporator coils free of ice look at openings (2) to other side, one may be blocked with ice the other with frost, carefully melt ice with hair dryer.
If the evaporator coil is solid ice heater or timer or fan has failed. good luck
