It is not going to work. Both wifi and ethernet are for internet connection only. Ethernet is much faster than wifi. Also there is possibility to damage tv by plugging ethernet cable which is connected device using POE (power over ethernet). You need to connect your dvr via hdmi, component or composite cable
The connection is limited ... He couldn't connect to Wi-fi on battery power. ..... Will this work if we have limited connectivity when trying to connect through a LAN cable? .... I found another solution, If you are running Windows 8 and your laptop keepsdropping the WiFi .... Investigate router or access point issues Failed
U need to download nikon wmu software from google playstore or appstore. Then start wifi of ur camera and then start wifi connection in ur mobile.select "nikon p600" in wifi setup.when connected, start application named "wmu" in ur mobile.wait for the connection.after few seconds wifi connection will be established.hope this would help u!
I do NOT have this camera. The Camera has to be in WIFI mode. (This mode uses more power) If you have done that you have to have a APP (Nikon WMU) on your Phone. If you do NOT connect rather quickly to the Camera it may shut OFF WIFI Again the WIFI really uses more power so if you do not connect it will turn it off. This may drive you nuts. Please make sure the batteries in the camera are fully charged and make sure for a test they are near each other.
The Smartphone connects to the camera NOT the camera connects to smartphone. You have to have the APP on the camera. You first have to turn on WIFI ON the camera. It is like a server. Then you turn on WIFI on the Phone and connect to the Camera WIFI.
I don't know what camera or what kind of wifi you use.
But is you are using Eye-Fi or a card like that, be aware that as soon the power save option kicks is, the card does not get any power, so the wifi connection is gone. That can be within 10 seconds.
So switch off power save or press the shutter release button every 9 seconds.
Normally you can't connect a camera to an iPad. If you want to put pictures from your own camera on the iPad, you can use a Camera Connection Kit. for the iPad 1 to 3 (30 pol connector) there are two items. One you can put in a SD (SCHC) card and import jpg pictures to the iPad. If your camera has no SD cards, you can use the USB connector. With a USB cable you then can connect the camera and you can retrieve the jpg pictures from the camera to the iPad. for the iPad 4 gen and 5 gen you have to buy the lightning connector with SD card reader. The camera connection kits only work on iPad not on iPhone. The card I now will mention, also work with iPhone.
Last option is to buy a Eye Fi card or a Trancend WiFi card, as long as your camera is compatible with such a card. (read the manual) and get a free app from the app store for the card you bought. Theen you can view or download the pictures while you are shooting. Last option is slow and while connected to the WiFi card you can't access the internet is you have a wifi only iPad.
