Check the breaker box for a tripped breaker. If it is tripped then flip it back on. If it trips again call a repairman, you probably have a short.

Have already checked breaker box, not tripped.

Unless you know how to use a meter and read a wiring schematic, I would call a repairman. That is a very expensive dishwasher and really should be looked at by an expert repairman.

I have a Kenmore Laundry Center.I washed 1 load then started another wash load. The washer filled with water completed the wash cycle and did not spin. I cannot get the washer to start again by...

Be sure there is power is coming from wall outlet and be sure breaker hasn't tripped. Also if there is a loose connection where cord was installed to unit, there may be a burnt wire.

Washer filled then stopped. Adjusting control knob

Sounds like door switch has failed. You can check this by jumping out the door switch

Washer filled and agitated - stopped and still filled with water and now it won't do anything - as if the power is off.

The washer thinks the lid is open. Either your lid switch is bad or it is not being depressed by the finger on the lid. Try manually depressing the lid switch.

Washer filled with water then stopped

Same problem- quick fix- to release door anyway. Found the service manual online...First unplug power cord and remove bottom front panel. Reach underneath on the right side of the machine- there will be a white round plastic disk that you can pull downward to release the door lock and remove your wet clothes. I found a pen lodged inside which may have caused the 'glitch'. When I ran it again it did the same thing and locked at the same place. The service guy had to replace the door lock mechanism to permanently fix the problem.

Washer has no action at all

Chobs Most likely the problem with your washer is the 10amps fuse and/or the lid switch. They both are located inside the control panel. Unplug the power cord, then remove three screws ot top of the control panel and pull it toward yourself. Behind the control panel you will see the glass fuse. Using simple multimeter, check the fuse for continuity (pull it out of the holder first). If no continuity, replace the fuse. You can buy at any hardware store. If there is a continuity, then the problem is a bad lid which. I would recommend to replace the lid switch in any case.
