FL is a "flow" issue. Check the filter to make sure it is clean. Start by removing it from the tub and see if that solves the error. The next item to check is the gate valves to make sure they are open all the way. There are usually one on either side of the pump and control box.

FL1 is an open flow switch error. That means you have poor or no flow through heater (air locked,bad, clogged, or scaled circ. pump, clogged filter, ect) or a bad flow switch. I hope this helps =)

FL1 fault code

Definition of FL1 = Water flow problem, inhibited or pressure switch malfunction. Check for proper spa water level and ensure pump is primed. Check for clogged filter.
Its likely to be your pressure switch (screws into heater tube, usually two wires) If this is blocked or has failed the heater will not turn on.

dirty or an “air lock” condition has occurred at the
circulation pump intake.

hi, this generally means a flow error and shows when the heater is looking to heat but there isn't enough pressure running through the heater tube. in this case the thermal overload sounds like it has tripped in the pump.

Jacuzzi hottub flashes f1 code. Tried hose in heating element and new filter.

The F1 code on my Jacuzzi is just the setting for the filteration mode. If you press the + and the - sign at the same time than release. Then press the warmer + or cooler - to select filter mode F0 thru F6. If you are getting a FL1 code means the flow switch is malfunctioning.

The Jacuzzi isnt recieving power

yes it could, it might even be the motor, take the electric suply and unplug it see if you can turn the shaft on the motor if not it froze up,, sometimes the get wet and seize, the you have to get a new motor
