Remove time date picture

Try to use menu and settings. Also, date stamp can be used only in very low resolution images, change your image resolution and quality back to this large/superfine setting. And you can find the information related to date stamp in user guides. Look for them here Canon Camera user guides and owners manual

Procedure to set date stamp on Canon Powershot G10

From the manual:
This camera does not allow you to insert the shooting date into an image while shooting (date stamping). However you can use the following method to imprint the date while printing.

  • Set with the camera's Digital Print Order Format (DPOF) function. Set [Date] option to [On] in [Print Settings] in the Print menu.
  • Connect the camera to a printer and imprint the date. See the Direct Print User Guide.
  • Insert a memory card into the printer and imprint the date. See your printer user guide.
  • Use the supplied software. See the Software Starter Guide.

You can download the manual and guides and more from the manufacturer's web site at

Need some1 2 explaint to me how I get the d&t printed on the photo for a canon powershot 1S camera please

you can Print the date and time to the picture when you take the print of it. It does not embed the date and time data into the image itself.

From the manual please read this
" Setting the date and time settings does not cause the date/time stamp to appear on images"

To print with date
This option will be available only for printing on card size paper

In the print order screen, select [Style] and press the SET button

You will get 3 options to set
1) Image
a) Standard b) multiple
2) Borders
a) Borderless b) Bordered
3) Date
a) On ( Adds the date to the print )
b) Off ( Prints without the date )

Select Date option as On and the date will be printed on the picture.

still you are having any doubts, please refer to user manual and Direct Print User Guide
which i am giving as links here.

Date and time will not display on downloaded or printed pictures

For the A80, this feature only works when direct printing from the camera. Read the section of the A80 User Guide dealing with DPOF printing to set this feature up (Page 141 and above). Here's the user guide direct from Canon:

How can you date stamp a picture with canon pc1256 camera

If you know what DPOF print setting is, go to that menu on you camera and you will find a clock-like icon to turn on the date stamp.

Click here to see the orginal page from the user guide in .pdf format.

If you have the book yourself, turn to page 154.
If you have the user guide in soft copy (.pdf format), scroll to page 156.

Date and Time

Do you have the Camera User Guide~~~It tells you how to set it on p37

or
I found this on the Camera User Guide

steps
1.press the function/setting button
2.on the left side, there's a column displaying various features, and then you go to select the very last one, and then it will displays more options for you to choose(L,M1,M2,M3,S, postcard, etc), and then "postcard" is the one you should choose.
3.After that, go to "menu", go down to the very bottom on the option list, you will see that the "Date Stamp" is being set "off", go there and choose other options (date/date and time). This is how you can display time on the pictures.
