Unable to receive fax

Condition 1 - Whn you dont have DSL line

The telephone line coming from the out is connected to Line 1 on the back of the printer and then going to any other device.

Condition 2 - If you have DSL line

Make sure that the line is coming in the Line 1 of the printer from ADSL filter

Printer is off-line-how do I get it on-line?

OK.------------ 1) First check whether printer power is turned Off or is On.If its off then turn it On.But iof its on. 2) Then check the printer to pc connection. The connection between printer and pc is called USB port connection. And this is connected via USB wire.So check this connection properly,to the printer side as well as pc side.If both the options 1 and 2 checked ok.Then try this procedure to turn printer on line. ------ The procedure is as follows:--- 1) Click the start option at the lower left corner of the task-bar. 2) Then click "settings" option. 3) Then click the printer & faxes option/. 4) After you click the printer & faxes option, a page will get open.On that page you will see your printer Icon. 5) Right click on that printer icon.I repeat, right click on that printer icon. 6) As you right click the printer icon option, some more options will get open.In that options you will see the "printer on line" option.Just click on that option. 7) The printer will get online. 8) If you re-click on that option another time, the printer will get off line again. -------------------- This is the basic procedure to turn printer online from a offline condition. ----------- But in case this all the three options are not helping then the last option to turn printer on line from off line is to reinstall the printer drivers. --------- For any other further query, please keep updated.Thanks.

Jobs go to the print que, but nothing prints,

There are a few possible problems:

1. The printer is set to off-line. Go to start, select printers and faxes, then double clip on the printer icon, check the options under the printer tab. See if it is set to off-line, uncheck the option.

2. The printer is not connected? Too obvious, but check it.

3. The printer is set to off-line. Check the printer buttons.

4. There is no paper in the printer or the paper tray is not properly set.

5. There is some other problem which generally causes the printer to go off line.

Why is my Zebra printer printing every other label?

The labels you are printing have an extra line feed (a blank line) after the last printed line. Remove them.

Remove any "FormFeed" from the label run, if you are doing a "merge".

Line 1 Name
Line 2 Address
Line 3 Address2
Line 4 City St Zip
Line 5 <Blank>
Line 6 <Blank>

How do you set up fax phone on the HP officejet 6215

hi you really have a very good choice of printers is one of the best printers from hp
inorder to set fax on ur printer you should first be sure what type of telephone line you are using
there are 2 type of line 1 dedicated -> that is directly attached for fax and has no other telephone or TAM connected if you have this line you can directly attach the phone line on the printer line 1
the other type of line is shared that means you use the same line for phone and fax in this the connection should be as :- telephone line from wall jack to the printer line 1 then from printer ext port to telephone answering machine (if any ) then from answering machine to telephone (if u have a dsl line that means u use phone and internet from the telephone line then there will be 2 lines comming out of the splitter 1 to router and other to telephone here follow the shared line connection mentioned above using the line that goes to the telephone )
now power on the printer and press the setup button (menu) now navigate to basic fax set up press ok and then go to rings to answer it should be 4 rings now go back and go to advance fax setting and then to distintive ring (DRP) select all rings and press ok now run fax test if it passes then ur fax is set up try sending fax now hope this will help you

Some lines are blurred, Some lines are printed larger, Some lines

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud
