CRUM data read trouble

Replace the toner cartridge.
Replace MCU PWB.
Replace MCU PWB EEPROM
Check and fix connection between
CRUM (toner cartridge) and MCU
PWB.

Motor control unit (MCU) error
The Central Control Unit has detected a short in the motor control unit. If a failure occurs during high-speed spin the door will be unlocked after 3 minutes.

• Check wire harness connections between the Drive Motor and the Motor Control Unit (MCU)
• Check wiring between the MCU and the Central Control Unit (CCU)
• Check the MCU
• Check the Drive Motor
• Check the Wire Harness

Error F15 Motor Control Unit (MCU) Error
If the MCU detects multiple resets or errors during a wash cycle it will go into this error mode.

Potential Causes
- Check wiring harness connections to the MCU, the motor, and Central Control Unit (CCL)
-Check Drive belt
-Check MCU
-Check Motor
-Check Wire Harness

F/06 error code, Drive Motor Tachometer Error. I checked the manual which states to check wire harness, check drive motor, check MCU. Checked wire harness from motor to MCU and MCU to CCU.

U2 error means some problem with the EPROM in the mcu try tosolve it by replacing the EPROM, follwed by replacing the mcu with a new mcu PWB which includes EPROM also

U2-40 Content CRUM chip communication error.

Developing unit disconnection.
MCU PWB abnormality.

Check and remedy
Replace the chip.
Check installation of the developing unit.


Use SIM 16 to cancel the trouble.
Replace the MCU PWB.

Clear the trouble with SIM 16.

Drive motor tachometer error(f-6)

The control is unable to properly detect motor speed and the machine will shut down. If a failure occurs during high-speed spin the door will be unlocked after 3 minutes.

Potential Causes

• Check wire harness connections between the Drive Motor/Tachometer and the Motor ControlUnit (MCU), and between the MCU and the Central Control Unit (CCU)
• Check the Drive Motor
• Check the MCU
• Check the Wire Harness

Replace failed component.

In most cases, the MCU will need ot be replaced.

F11 Communication error CCU (control) and MCU (Motor Control)

. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Check wire harness connections to the MCU, the motor, and
Central Control Unit (CCU).
3. Check the drive system for any worn or failed components.
4. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
5. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic test or any
cycle.
6. Check the MCU by looking for operations of the drive motor.
7. Check the drive motor for powered rotations.
8. Check that the serial harness at the MCU is not mounted
upside down. The wires should be to the left when facing the
MCU connectors.
