Frigidaire Gallery Series Oven Locked

From my understanding your hit the clean button on your Frigidaire wall oven and now the door will not open. I would hold down the cancel button for at least ten seconds, this should unlock the door. If that does not help I would recommend disconnecting power from your wall oven by flipping the household circuit breaker for ten minutes. I hope this information was helpful to some degree. -Matt

If tripping and turning the circuit breaker off for about 10 minutes does not work, contact Frigidaire. Sounds like the control board and/or door switch will need replacing.

Here is Frigidaire's suggestion to your problem:

Electronic control has detected a fault condition. Push CANCEL pad to clear the display

and stop the display from beeping. Reprogram the oven. If a fault reoccurs, record the fault
number, push the CANCEL pad and contact an authorized servicer.

Some of the self cleaning ranges require that the door be locked before the self-cleaning cycle will work. If your oven door has a manual locking lever then make sure it is completely latchedthen press the self-clean button. Also make sure the dooris completely closed because if there is not a manual latch then it will be a auto latching system. If not then there could be a problem with the button on the control panel for the self cleaning option.

If your oven door has gotten bent or warped (maybe you rested something heavy on it…), you need to remove the door, disassemble it, and straighten it. You can lift most oven doors off of their hinges by opening the door several inches to its first "stop," and lifting the entire door straight up.

If the hinges have become worn, damaged, or bent, you probably need to replace them. I recommend replacing both hinges at the same time, to prevent uneven wear of the undamaged hinge.

Hold the light switch closed on the oven and then push and hold cancel button after the oven cools.

Not familiar with this particular stove, but it sounds like you activated a child protection lock. To turn these on and off, you have to hit that lock icon and hold it for 4-8 seconds for anything to happen. This is so that the kids won't have sense enough to unlock it, assuming that you locked it to keep them out!

Also, frequently they work  in stages. Hitting it one time (for 4-8 seconds) will lock the panel, hitting it another time will unlock it, hitting it a third time might lock the door, and so on. So RTFM, or just keeping hitting it multiple times for 4-8 seconds each, and see what does what. But the manual should tell you everything you need to know. You can go to the GE website, or to managemyhome.com, which is maintained by Sears, and you should be able to find a PDF copy of the manual if you don't have the manual that came with it.

Hello, what to do is to start another self clean cycle let the unit clean for about 3 minutes then push the cancel button.This should unlock the door if not a tech will have to come to advance the lock motor . good luck

Just hold in the oven light switch around the oven door area, then press the cancel button and wait a few seconds.   It will reset.
