Frigidaire 30" Self-Cleaning Freestanding Electric Range - White-on-White - Page 5 - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
My frigidaire stove I have to umplugg it because keeps beeping f10 can' stop I push any bottom and keeps beeping
Hi Elizabeth! From what you have posted, your appliance is experiencing a high-temperature error code (F10). A high-temperature error indicates that your oven has reached too high of a temperature for too long of a time period. If unplugging your appliance does not prove to be successful, you would require a visit from a professional to check the temperature sensor and the electronic oven control (brains of your appliance behind the touch pad). If you have any other questions please comment so I can help!
Thanks,
Chris
Can i rest my oven lock
Good Morning ostamos, thank you for your post!
Are you seeking information on how to reset the lock mechanism of your Frigidaire range? If so, and the oven lockout feature is activated, try pressing CLEAR/OFF and hold for roughly 5 seconds. The control will unlock the oven door and resume normal operation. I ask that you please follow up with a response on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your range status has changed successfully. Thank you!
Frigidare range error codef20
If you didn't replace any elements, then it is the control panel. If you did here is a post I found on it: On a service call i ran across this same range with the same problem and remembering from a s/c about a year ago i had purchased the (316441801) dual element switch .. It wasn't in a box but looked the same . so i installed the switch .. and to my surprise f20 popped up as soon as I turned on the oven . This code also appeared when i removed and isolated the wire's ( i.e. no switch at all ) I spent the next 30 minutes checking wiring , so here's the reason this happens . It is a communication error code . One of the Dual elements has a (316441801) and the other has (316441804) switch . The last number is different . I found that one switch acts as a ground and the other as a positive , if you will.and I'm not quite sure as to why its attached to the EOC . So when changing out one of the dual switches look at the sticker on the switch ( hehe which I didn't)as it has the part number on it . Hope this helps and saves someone from buying the EOC as that is most likely not the problem
When i try to use the oven, it doesn't work and appears an error code F20
If you replaced an element, you may have made an error in replacing it. F3 beeping in self cleaning mode
Hello Jane, thank you for allowing me to assist you!
If you are getting an error code F3, it is commonly referred
to a faulty sensor probe or a wiring harness between the sensor probe and EOC
(electronic oven control). You may try and reset your range by disconnecting
the power or by flipping the circuit breaker off and back on after 10 minutes.
This often clears most false error code. If the error code does not clear, most
likely the EOC on the range will need replacing. I
am fairly confident that an authorized service agent will be able to restore
your appliance to its normal operating condition. You can often locate a
qualified service technician on the manufacturer website.
Oven does not heat up
That pop could have been the element. Check all around the element for a bubble or a large pit/hole. If you don't find anything then check for a burned wire in the back (please unplug the range). Does your range have fuses? If so then check the 30A fuses, but if one is blown you'll have to find the short that caused it, usually a burned wire fused to the chassis or a burned out element. There are many things that could have caused this but these are the most common. Cheers
Dash Board stuck flashing. Won't let me adjust
Good Afternoon Lisa, thank you
for allowing me to assist you!
Let's try resetting your range by
either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is
important to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn your range on. If resetting
the power does not correct the issue, then your appliance could possibly be
experiencing a potential wiring failure or a faulty EOC (Electronic Oven
Control). I am fairly confident
that an authorized service agent will be able to restore your appliance to its
normal operating condition. You can often locate a qualified service technician
on the manufacturer website.

Is it hard to change a cracked glass top from a
Hello Montse, thank you for your inquiry!
Regrettably, this is not a simple DIY job. Generally,
qualified technicians often perform these complicated procedures. Usually this
type of information is not released to a consumer and very rare to find enough
information to do it yourself. If I was in your position, I would personally suggest
contacting a professional to accurately diagnose and make the appropriate
repairs.
Half way thru the cleaning cycle I got an error
Does the bake and broil elements both glow bright orange? It's possible the temperature is not getting hot enough to satisfy cleaning mode. Also check the door lock to see if it is staying locked. Pull on the door when the error occurs, be sure to keep your face away because it can singe your hair and burn you. The temps in the oven reach 600 degrees or more and the control board or keypad may be overheating and causing this error.
Stopped f1 flashing and beeping by adjusting the
You have disabled the oven feature if you did adjust the door lock assembly. Interesting that the F1 stopped. notsure why myself.\Usually the F1 feature does not go away unless you replace the electronic/control board.I wonder what would happen if you set the door lock assembly to where it was before?
F-90 error - self-cleaning ovn door will not lck
Good Morning Nancy, I am happy to assist you!
If you are receiving error code F90, your maximum oven door
unlock time has exceeded. One of the best ways to determine if this is a false
error code is to reset the power to the appliance by either flipping off the
breaker or unplugging it for about ten minutes. If the error code persists, it
would be advisable to contact an experienced appliance repair tech to assist
further since the unit may possibly have a faulty EOC (electronic oven
control), lock motor assembly, door light switch or door latch assembly.
Best regards!
I don't use the oven, I need the manual
Good Morning Claudia,
I am happy to assist you!
I understand you are
seeking an Owner's Guide for your Frigidaire range. However, may I please have
the model number? The serial tag, which lists your model number, is typically
located in the storage drawer, on the right side. With this information I can provide
the correct manual to you. Thank you!
