Where can I find an electric range with depth less than 28 inches

Bertha, most stoves are going to be anywhere from 26" deep to 29" deep. Most any stove that I have used or worked on has never been a counter depth stove unless it was a slide in or a drop in stove. When I went to GE's website, I did not many stoves that were less than 28" deep until I got up to $1000 in retail pricing. The only one under that price that was less than 28" was also only 24" in width. Hope this helps!

How do I operate my self-cleaning oven..no manual..

Thank you for your post, Pattie Cromie!

I see that you would like to operate self-clean on your Frigidaire range and you do not have the manual. Typically, to start self-clean you would need to push the button labeled "Self-clean" and make sure there is nothing inside the oven before starting a self-clean cycle. Also before starting self-clean close the door because of the temperatures that are created within the oven the door needs to be closed and locked. I hope this has been beneficial. -Matt

Frigidaire oven and broiler stopped working but clock andtop burners work

Hello Friend, this is Z. I am happy to assist you! I see that both the clock and burners of your Frigidaire range are working but your oven does not bake or broil. May I have your model number please? You can normally locate the serial tag (which provides your model number) in the storage drawer, on the right side. Also, think about what may have happened prior to this occurrence. For instance, did you notice any strange functions or any other error codes prior to this issue? With this information I can better address the issue at hand. Meanwhile, let's try resetting your range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position. It is important to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn your range on. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, could you please advise me if the issue continues or provides an error code. Thank you!

Frigidaire stove

Power outage could have shorted out the control panel. Call the power company and put in a claim with your insurance company. Tis happened to me & I was able to reset the oven, even with a glowing bright & dim panel. Thought everything was ok but the upper oven doesn't stay on & the oven probe doesn't work, but it's too late for me to file a claim.

Why are there brown/white streaks inside oven door glass after using self cleaner 1 time?

Thank you for your post, friend!

From my understanding after you used the self-clean feature on your Frigidaire range you now have brown and white streaks on the indoor glass. Typically streaks can be removed by cleaning the interior glass. Normally it is recommended to have a professional clean the inside glass but a consumer can do it as well. Use caution when following the steps some pieces can have sharp edges. You will need to have a Phillips head screwdriver or small quad bit driver.

A. Refer to owners guide for instructions on how to remove oven door.

B. With door in broil stop position lift door assembly off hinges. C. Lay door on table, position so that handle hangs freely over edge of table D. Remove 2 screws and washers that secure handle to lining assembly. E. Remove 8 screws that attach textured steel door wrapper trim to lining assembly 3 at top, 3 at bottom, 1 on each side F. Lift door lining up and out of wrapper trim assembly. G. Lay lining assembly on table with wool shield/inner part of lining facing up. H. Remove 2 glass clamps via 2 screws per clamp. These clamps attach innermost clear glass to wool shield. I. Lift out center clear glass from wool shield, this glass just lays onto the wool shield and is held in place by the glass/ clamps in item H. J. Clean each glass with appropriate cleaner. K. One glass that remains in door lining assembly can at this time be cleaned without further disassembly the lining assembly. L. Reassemble in reverse order.

Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt

What does a f10 code mean?

Good Morning Friend, that's a great question! Typically error code F10 indicates that your Frigidaire range has detected an issue with the runaway temperature (overheating). Let's attempt reprogramming your range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is best to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn on your range. Usually this will clear most false error codes. If issue persists, at this moment I would suggest contacting a professional to proceed further. Most likely the RTD Probe (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (electronic oven control) will need replacing. Hope this helps! - Z

Frigidaire electric oven digital display not coming on

Good Afternoon Friend, I am happy to assist you! Based on the symptoms you are describing it sounds like your range could possibly be experiencing a communication problem with the EOC (Electronic Oven Control) or a potential wiring failure. Let's try resetting your range by either flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position or by unplugging it. It is best to wait approximately ten minutes and then turn on your range. If resetting the power to the range does not correct the issue, at this moment I would personally contact a professional to accurately diagnose your range to determine the root cause to reduce the risk of unnecessary parts. Best regards! - Z
