My oven wont shut off and gets very hot way past set temp what up with this.

Good Morning Friend, I understand that your Frigidaire electric oven, model# es 200/300, will not shut off. I also see that it gets very hot, way past the set temperature. First, make sure you have not put it into the self-cleaning cycle. If it is not in the self-cleaning cycle, I suggest resetting your appliance, by shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Once power is restored, you will need to set the clock before starting any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your air conditioner status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful. -Best Regards- WP

Oven elements not working

Good Afternoon Friend, thank you for your inquiry! I see that you are having trouble with both your bake and broil element on your Frigidaire range. Can you think about what may have happened prior to this occurrence? For instance, did you notice any error codes or strange noises? Also, do you have an electric or gas range? May I please have your model number? The serial tag, which lists your model number, is typically located in the storage drawer, on the right side. With this information I can assist you better in pinpointing the problem. Thank you! -Z

Self cleaning range - door is locked, food inside, and self clean malfunction

Here are a couple of remedies that may work: 1. Disrupt the power to the stove for at least 5 minutes. If the clean cycle has been on to heat the oven at all, wait until you are certain it is completely cooled down. Patience is a virtue. There should be no lights on the panel. This resets the stove and stove errors the majority of times. I usually pull the plug at the rear of the stove. It gives me a chance to clean the floor while waiting. Re-power and determine if the if the clean cycle cancels. If not, go to 2. 2. Push the door in and press "Cancel". There is a push button switch (not visible when the door is closed) that is also a part of the self clean circuit. This switch may not be fully depressed. If it does not cancel, press the "Bake" button and press "Start". If it continues on the clean cycle, allow it to run for approx. 5 minutes and then enter "Cancel". If it does not cancel, retry the #1 waiting longer than 5 minutes and repeat #2 sequence. 3. The door can not be disassembled when it is locked closed. The lock mechanism is at the top of the door in the center and approx. 2" down.. The latch operates from left (open) to right (lock). It may be possible to get a slim jim type device to disengage the latch. A piece of scrap spring steel pallet banding may work for this You may have to depress the "Cancel" while doing this/. Hopefully, your range cooperates and you do not have to try 3. Let us know if any of these work for you.

How do I take off the top of my range to install new timer?

Good Afternoon Friend, I understand that you are trying to replace the timer on your Frigidaire range, model# FGF326ASJ, and want to know how to take the top off your range. Typically, this is not a do it yourself repair and there are no step by step instructions on how to take the top off. I suggest contacting the manufacturer to see if they might be able to assist. The other option would be to call your local authorized technician. The technicians are trained on your specific range and will be able to take the top off and install the new timer. Hope this is helpful. -Best Regards- WP

How do you unlock my frigdair oven door

Good Afternoon Anonymous, this is Z. I am happy to assist you! I understand the oven door of your Frigidaire range is locked. May I please have your model number? The serial tag, which lists your model number, is typically located in the storage drawer, on the right side. With this information I can help you unlock the door. In the meantime, try pressing the CLEAR/OFF or CANCEL button in for approximately three seconds if your range is a touchpad model. If you have a knob type range control, I suggest starting a self-clean cycle. Then turn the stop time knob to the off position. If that does not work, then disconnect power to your range and reset it by either unplugging it or flipping the breaker off. I suggest waiting roughly ten minutes and then turn on your range. Hope to hear from you soon and best of luck!

Oven won't heat much

Good Afternoon Jayme, I see that your Frigidaire freestanding electric range is having heating troubles. I suggest giving your double oven a hard reset by cutting the power at the circuit breaker for at least 2-3 minutes. After restoring power you will need to reset the clock. You will do this by entering in the time and pressing start. Turn the oven on to heat up, and if it does not, I suggest either contacting the manufacturer or contacting your local authorized technician to diagnose your appliance. Hope this helps. -Best Regards- WP

Oven is stuck in lock mode

Hi Lora, this is AP! Based on the description of the Frigidaire electric range provided it appears the door lock feature has been activated. In order to cancel the Oven Lockout feature, press clear off and hold for 3 seconds. The control will unlock the oven door and resume normal operation. This door lock feature is activated by pressing clear off and holding for 3 seconds. "Loc" will appear in the display, the "Door Locked" indicator light will flash and the motor driven door lock will begin to close automatically. Allow about 15 seconds for the oven door to lock. Once the oven door is locked, the current time of day will appear in the display. If any control pad is pressed with the oven lockout feature active, "Loc" will appear in the display until the control pad is released. This information is also located in the owner's manual should you like to view it again, you may retrieve a manual using your model# and the following link http://www.frigidaire.com/Owner-Center/Product-Support-Manuals/. I hope this information helps to some degree - thanks for your question, and please do not hesitate to reconnect.

When turning oven on there is a beeping sound and error code F1

Most of the answers are correct, the EOC (Electronic Oven Control) is either damaged or shorted. I've also seen the F1 code come up on the version 2 and 3 units when the temperature probe was shorted. But most likely your EOC is damaged and needs to be replaced. Since you didn't give us a model number we can't give you any more info. Good luck

F1 code

Good Afternoon landstardad, thank you for allowing me to assist you! Typically error code F1 indicates that a runaway temperature (overheating) issue has been detected. Let's try reprogramming your range by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. It is important to wait roughly ten minutes and then turn your range on. If the error code does not clear, at this point, I would suggest contacting a professional to proceed further. Most likely the RTD Probe (Resistance Temperature Detector) or the EOC (electronic oven control) will need replacing. Hope this helps!

Oven not heating!

Hi Michelle, I understand you are having trouble with your oven not heating. Based on the little bit of information provided I could suggest the following. If you are having problems with the individual bake or broil then it is likely that the single element is the problem. However, if you find that neither element is heating then electrical connection could be causing the oven to not heat. Best Regards,

Wall oven stopped working

Good Morning Peggy, thank you for allowing me to assist you! Typically error code F1 indicates that your range has detected an issue with the runaway temperature (overheating). Try reprogramming your appliance by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. This usually clears most false error codes. Wait approximately ten minutes and if the error code does not clear, I would recommend contacting a professional to proceed further. Most likely the EOC (electronic oven control) will need replacing. Hopes this help!

I need a manual for a frigidaire REG433MNM-1 oven

Hi Steven, thank you for your post! Wow! Your range is over a decade old - that's a great lifespan for any cooking appliance! I understand you are seeking an Owner's Guide for your range; however most manufacturers only archive appliance manuals up to ten years. Since it is very difficult to find a manual for this specific model, you could reach out directly to the manufacturer to see if they have any literature available. Alternatively, if you are experiencing any issues with your oven, I would be more than happy to assist you. Best regards! Chris
