I startred a self-cleaning cycle on a frigidaire stove but I pulled on the oven door accidently before it locked shut and now it won't shut because the lock is stuck closed. I get a flashing lock light and a "dr" code on the panel when I try to set self-cleaning cycle again.
push in on the oven light switch and hit clean then cancel you have to hold the oven light switch thats what tells the eoc the door is closed if this dont work reply to me

The oven and display clock on the digital display stopped working. The oven will not turn on, the digital display is total gone as well. I checked the fuses and they are fine. I think it is electrical. Does anyone know why this would happen and how to fix it?
my frigidaire oven will not light. The broiler works and the oven ingiter lights up, but the oven will not ingite. The electronic display does work.

i have a stove/oven. the other day, i pushed the self clean button and the light for the door lock keeps flashing. then it beeps with a f90 code. it never would clean but leading up to that, the oven works just fine and the stove top as well. i have unplugged it for over 24 hrs now to see if it will reset but its still doing it. now, i cant use my oven, only stove top. i cant afford for a technician to come out. what can i do to just get the code to disappear and use the oven again?
F90 Maximum oven door unlock time exceeded.
F91 Maximum oven door unlock attempts exceeded.
F92 Maximum oven door open time exceeded.
F93 Maximum oven door lock time exceeded.
F94 Maximum oven door lock attempts exceeded.
1. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Check the wiring between EOC & Lock Motor Micro Switch.
2. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Replace the Motor Door Latch assembly if necessary.
3. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Check for binding of the Latch Cam, Lock Motor Rod & Lock Motor Cam.
4. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Check to see if Lock Motor Coil is open. If open, replace Lock Motor Assembly.
5. (F90, 91, 92, 93 & 94) Lock Motor continuously runs - if Micro Switch is open, replace Lock Motor Assembly.
6. (F92, 93 & 94) Check oven door Light Switch - if open, replace Switch.
7. If all situations above do not solve problem, replace EOC.
F90 is a door lock code, Try this...
unplug the range.
wait 1 minute.
turn the range back on,
then while holding in on the oven door.
start another self clean.
wait 2 minutes.
then cancel the self clean.
do not release the door until the door lock light goes out.

oven smokes and smells like burning plastic
This happened with my oven, happened twice to the same (newer) oven actually. The smell and smoke occurred both with the oven and with the use of burners on stove top. Turned out it was the main line cord which had a split. The first repair they replaced the thermol block and all the bolts holding it into place (for a total of 9 parts) the second time (about a year later) the repairman replaced the line cord and said that it probably should have been done along with the first repair. The smell coming from the oven before the repair was a toxic burning wire or burnt plastic smell. There was also smoke if the oven was left on long enough. The repairman said that the amount of heat to "cook" the connection on the line was at a fairly dangerous level. It was recommended to me by the fire inspector (who was in my unit for annual condo inspections) that it was unsafe and to have it repaired immediately. Hope this helps. Best of luck.

error f13 on my frigidaire oven how do i fix it
The "F13" error code means "Bad EEPROM identification/Checksum error".
If reseting the power did not help then according to Frigidaire suggested corrective action the electronic oven control (aka EOC) has to be replaced.
- The part number for the EOC is AP3874704

My Frigidaire Oven display panel won't come on all of a sudden. Burners and oven light work. It could be from a surge in electricity. How do I 1) check fuses or breaker? Where are these located? How could I diagnose if this is the EOC (Electronic Oven Control) panel? If it is the EOC, how do I replace it?
If the burners and oven light are working, then you have power coming in. It's most likely a defective EOC. If you haven't tried turning off the circuit breaker for 5-10 mins to reset any glitch associated with a surge or spike, do so. If this doesn't reset the control, the EOC will need to be replaced.

Well, it keeps beeping, push the clear/off button and it stops for 10 seconds. What's happening.
sounds like you need to get all food out and switch it off and leave the doors open and leave it for two days with the doors open ok then afther you have left it swich back on with doors closed do not open doors for 24 hours swicth on ok then it should be ok if not then its lack of gas

I have a frigidaire gas range/oven that seems to be stuck in DR (Door locked mode) although the oven can open and close freely. The memory on the oven seems to think the oven is locked when it really isn't. I've tried unplugging it for a few hours and powering it back on, but the DR still remains and I'me unable to bake. The burners still work fine though. What am I doing wrong here?
I have a frigidaire gas range/oven that seems to be stuck in DR (Door locked mode) although the oven can open and close freely. I pressed either bake or broil it always show DR error code. I bought new and never used the oven due to this error code. Since then and many years past I still can't use the oven. Only use burner since.
the light switch seem to be working correctly as when I close the door the light will goes off.
thanks
