To set the date and time
1. Press Setup.
2. Press 6, and then press 3.
This selects Tools and then selects Date and Time.
3. Enter the month, day, and year by pressing the appropriate numbers on the
keypad. Depending on your country/region setting, you might enter the date in a
different order.
4. Enter the hours and minutes.
5. If your time is displayed in the 12-hour format, press 1 for AM, or 2 for PM.
The new date and time settings appear on the display.

U have a failed scanner, there is no software that will fix this problem, the board that communicates with the PC has failed, based on my repair experience it is cheaper to just replace the unit than repair it, these all in ones are very cheap these days, they make there money off the ink cartridges.

Try to reseat the ink cartrage you replaced it probably is not seated properly.Then restart the printer.

check the page setup click on file -click on pagesetup
Press Ctrl+P
Check the layout settings
Check print priver if print privew is ok then its software issue
Check the printer drivers

While I do not know the operating system you are using the choice at http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&product=1119598 will let you get back to the original software for the unit. The print and scan driver install should trigger the system to see your scanner when it is connected.

More than likely all you have to do is go to HP.com, select Downloads and then drivers. You also need to know what operating system you are using. Different operating platforms use distinctly different drivers.

If it can be detected on other computers (Macs or linux) than the documents can be saved. If cannot detect on other PCs you will need someone with the knowledge to recover files from memory chips.. Good luck..

Only if you have fax software on your computer and scan an image to the computer to fax, otherwise you need a really long phone cable you can buy at Radio Shack or Best Buy.
