check the water temperature is reach the desired setting,clean the rinse arm and check the rinse soaf if working at end of wash cycle.

Make sure there isn't any plastic on the heating element. Also check to see if there is any evidence of previously melted plastic. If it smells like plastic burning & you aren't using any heated options, cut the power & call for service.

Hi,

If the clean light is flashing it is an indication of the water not heating up. I have attached a link to a sheet explaining what might be causing it and how to reset the control so you can use the dishwasher again.

Clean light flashing

If other lights than the clean light are flashing that is an indication there is a short circuit in the keypad control and that part would need replaced. Let me know if you need details on replacing that. If so I would need the complete model number from the tag on the dishwasher just inside the door.

what does the lcd show it says this -- in your post ? or is that all it shows is two dashes first thing to try is hold the cancel button for 5 seconds and then message me back with what the lcd shows i await your reply Thanks Rick

If you have hard water, glasses can look spotted and cloudy even after cleaning. Sometimes changing the dishwasher detergent can help. The easiest solution to clearing up glasses that start to look cloudy is toadd some vinegar to the bottom of the dishwasher before you start a cycle. Simply add 1 cup of white vinegar and it will clear up your glasses very well.
You should see marked improvement after the first time you do this. If they are not crystal clear then simply repeat the process until all of the cloudiness is gone. In fact I recommend to using a little vinegar in each cycle to maintain the clarity of the glass.
Note: you can pre-test this by rubbing some vinegar on an individual glass with a cloth. If you cannot remove the cloudiness by soaking it and rubbing vinegar on it then it is possible that the glass is etched due to harsh or cheap dishwasher detergent and vinegar will not solve the problem.

your answer just might be at your finger tips. Check inside of the toe plate....located in the front outside lower half of the dishwasher. Should be held on by four screws. Inside there you will find a tech sheet that after you read it will tell you just what the lights are telling you.
If you cant locate one let me know and I will do some research for you ok?

When it's buzzing, you have to let it buzz until it stops. Then you pressed stop then start. Et voilà!
"S" means salt, but you can use any salt you want.

Are you using a rinsing agent? What is your water supply? Is it well water or public water?

Please check to make sure that you are using a rinsing agent and that your hot water is hot enough for your Dishwasher to function properly.

The newer dishtabs have both cleaner and rinsing agent in a balanced formula and work very well.

Is this a new problem? Or is it a new dishwasher? Did your manual say that it was okay to use vinegar in your dishwasher?

You will need to use your entire model number as it seems there are several submodels to your number.

Flashing clean light is reset by pressing two buttons in sequence 3-4 times, to reset your kenmore press these buttons in sequence:

High temp wash-heated dry-high temp wash-heated dry

There is a malfunction and it is recommended to call for repair, tell them what is happening the manual suggests to call for service to check heater circuit. I am sorry if this is not much help.

You have a bad fuse in the control and needs to be replaced.
