use a small soft bush and vacumm cleaner to take out the dust and use a cold blower to clean the rest,

Some times it needs a good clean up but this is up to you if you want to do this I put down here. But after you don this prime the printer so it gets the inks back in the heads, it may take a little time for the inks to work.

Ok it got to be the heads blockage
There is fluid cleaner for this but I can never find any in the shops the only ones I seen is when they sell them in Tesco but they come in with the ink refill bottles so I just use worm water by it self on a cloth and dabbing on the heads to clean them, it will not harm the heads but not to much water.

Some heads are on the inks them self but some have them inside the printer so I not know your printer so if the heads are inside you need to get them out you may find that some heads will just clip out put some need to be unscrewed so you got to know how they come out so be careful and not push to hard on them, if the heads are on the ink then it is a easy job to clean them,
It worth a try it worked for me more than ones.

Not no if you may have the wrong driver, this one is for Vista and most Vista drivers will work on Windows 7 gave it a go.

I have put a driver for you on my website for you it for windows Vista to download just click on the driver link and it will download for you, best to save it to your desktop so you can find it.

Had the printer been in use previously? Does the driver load? Does it attempt to print? Are there any error messages?

is a printer error, check for paper jams, and end of paper, or scanner jamed,
try reinstall printer software, may resolve these error, and reboot computer

No drivers for Windows 7 yet. You should be able to use vista driver.

I have this same problem. It started when I experienced a paper jam and tried canceling the print order in the queue. I've tried every possible way to try and bring the printer out of this comatose state it's in, and nothing doing. I'm about ready to buy a new printer. I guess this is what you get with a cheap printer Dell threw in free with a larger order.

If the printer is able to turn on, please make sure you have downloaded and installed the current drivers for your printer and OS. You can get this from the Dell website.

What happens when you try to print from the printer. Just try to make a copy of a document from the printer. if that works it should be issue with driver uninstall and riesntall the driver should fix the issue

lift the printer and shake to check if it sounds like a piece broken inside.. turn the printer off take the power brick out from the back.. manually pull the cartridge to extreme right then center.. check if cartridge is aligned correctly.. if nothing of this works.. contact dell for replacement under warranty.. if out of warranty.. inkjet printers cannot be repaired if broken.. u can buy a dell v313 of same quality for $59 with warranty..

It seems installation problem. As you have already installed it once atleast, You must disconnect it from the PC and uninstall it from Control Panel->Add Remove Program and reboot the PC. Then ainstall the drivers again and reboot. Now connect the device and allow Windows to detect it and load its drivers. It will give yoou a msg in the right bottom corner of the screen saying "The new HW is installed and is ready for use". Now you can configure the word processor and from the Menu access File->Print. here set this device as default device. Now you are ready to use it whatever way you want to.

make sure all the catridges are proper if possible then replce it and re install the printer driver also.
