My printer will not print. It scans fine to a
Have you tried going to Dell and downloading the drivers for it? I had an A920 until a couple of weeks ago so know that every once in awhile, for no reason, it quits working. Mine would print but not scan! I went to Dell, downloaded updated drivers and this seemed to fix the problem. I had to do the scanning through the program, not by pushing the buttons, tho.
My ink cartridge hold for the black cartridge tab
Not an easy fix, the holder is secured in quite well and unless your a wiz with the screwdriver, I would not recommend it, but if you are it is quite the challenge and fun!!!
For the price of the spare part from dell you can purchase a replacement printer. Simply contact Dell Services in your country for a price on a new Cartridge Carriage!

Dell A920 cartridge stall error.
Hi,
I HAD the same problem, but not anymore!! I just opened the top to expose the "inside of the printeri" and checked the long clear band at the rear behind the print head. Make sure that the clear ribbon is NOT TWISTED. There is a small metal bar with a small extended part on the far left interior of the printer. Just make sure that the slot on the clear band is fitted on that extended part. This will put the print head back "on track" This worked for me!!
Dlbkaiox.exe hung constantly looking for 1st app
Hi there Remove the printer data cable & restart the PC & printer. Then fit back the data cable & turn on the printer. Hope that's start working , if no luck then Uninstall the printer driver & restart the PC & Printer both again. Now install the driver of the printer and connect it with PC ,Turn on printer & go for a test print from the printer preference. Thanks & waiting for your reply.
Run cleaning utility
Clean the Ink Cartridge Nozzles
- 1 Load printer paper into your Dell A920 Printer.
- 2 Open the Dell Printer Solution Center on the computer. Click "Start," located in the bottom left corner of your computer. Select "Programs" from the menu displayed. Click "Dell printers." Click "Dell AIO Printer A920" and then click "Dell Printer Solution Center" to open the Dell Printer Solution Center.
- 3 Click on the "Maintenance" tab and select the option that says, "Clean to fix horizontal streaks."
- 4 Click "Print." This will print a nozzle print page, which forces ink through all of the nozzles to clean and unclog them.
- 5 Print a regular document again to see if the print quality has improved. Repeat the cycle up to two more times to improve printing quality.

Got a dell printer from
These printers are better left to throw out. Their ink is expensive unless you find knock off of it. you used to be able to use lexmark ink in these (they are actually made by lexmark, dell doesn't make their own printers) but some units you can't. The cost of their ink isn't that cheap. usually 20-30 for black and 30-50 for color.
A way better replacement is a Kodak ESP where the ink will be 10$USD for black and 15$USD for the color. Nice thing is they come with starter pack of ink when you buy them.
Printer was printing wireless from lap top and now
This is one of the common connectivity issues marring the benefits of having a
wireless printer. In this situation your printer will not print when connected wirelessly but would need you to set it up with your system using a USB cable. Try resetting the IP of your system to what is mentioned in the printer and in case there is a router connecting your printer and system then use the IP address of router and put it in your system. This should help you fix this printer issue.
