Yikes, unfortunately no, it sounds like the power module has been the issue all along, not along it to power down, and once it was powered down it will not come back. You can try leaving it unplugged at least 10 minutes, then plug again, but most likely it unfortunately will not come back. Epson printers, especially this model you have, are notorious for having hardware issues sooner than later into the life of the unit. I would recommend something like a Canon all ine one unit that will do the exact same job, has less expensive and more efficient ink. Possible that your printer head is defective / damaged. in this case you will need to remove and replace with a new one. But you will need to check out the prices before you confirm to change. nowadays the new prrinters cost lesser than such expensive replacement. Also please try to uninstall and reinstall the software on your PC before you can confirm even a corrupt software can sacue problems. All this hoping that the inks you have replaced have been original. Hope my advice helps. Good day

with the power on lift the front cover. the cartridge should present itself to you. then you can lift it up and out.

hi! try this! 1. go to control panel, select the printer, then right click the model of your printer, select properties, then select printing preferences.    in printing preference, select effect, then check the box of vivid photos. If you check vivid photos it will add enhancement to your printout. But thats not it, 2. open your photoshop, find your color settings, set your RGB color to (sRGB IEC61996- 2.1) then you CMYK color to (U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2) then off all your Color-management Policies and don't mind anything. 3. After your Edit your photos from RGB, then convert it to CMYK, then try printing it. 

Hi there you should check the cartridges to make sure there is ink in them.If they do have ink you should take you time and put them back into the printer,pay close attention when doing this because if the cartridges are not properly in place the printer will not print.If the problem still exist should uninstall and reinstall the drivers for your printer, if you do not have the software CD you can go to the manufacturer website and download the drivers for the printerthis should solve the problem.

Your best and easiest way is to purchase an inkjet cleaning kit. It's inexpensive and provides detailed instructions. You can find them at most electronics stores.

Using the printer's control panel In some circumstances, you may need to replace an ink cartridge before it is empty.
If the ink out light is flashing or is on, replace the empty ink cartridge as described in Replacing an Empty Ink Cartridge.
To replace an ink cartridge before the ink out light flashes or the Status Monitor notifies you that the cartridge is empty, follow the instructions in this section.
Caution: Do not remove the cartridge from the printer until you are ready to replace it with the other one.
Make sure that the printer is on. The power light should be on, but not flashing.
Lower the output tray, then open the printer cover.
Press the ink button. The print head will move to the ink cartridge replacement position, and the power light will begin to flash.
Note: Do not press the ink button over three seconds. Otherwise the printer starts cleaning the print head.

I found this on another website and it worked for me. It apparently resets the printer. Hope it works for you:

1.) power on (error message)
2.) press the "Stop (triangle)" and the "Colour copy" button and hold them
3.) press the power button to power off, still hold 2.)
4.) press the power button to power on, still holding 2.)
5.) the LEDs start to flash, then they stop to flash and the red exclamation mark starts to flash. Now release 2.)

6.) the LED should say: "Init EEprom"
7.) now press and hold the power button until the printer powers off and powers on again.

Page 19 deals with the card slots.

You've not mentioned what typer of camera or card you have so you'll have to take it out of the camera and check.

The top one is slot B
Middle slot A
Bottom slot C

Slot B takes - Smartmedia and XD picture cards.
Slot A takes - Memory stick, SD, Mini SD and Mulimedia cards
Sloct C takes - Compact Flash and Microdrive cards.

It's a bad idea to go from xp to win 7. I'd contact epson and request a new cd

Check the cartridge ink or replace with a new cartridge to solve it.

1. if the cartridge is new chances are you got a clogged nozzel or a failed print head.

a. Buy a new print head
b. or clean the print head

other thins you might not want to do is replace the printer but that option is on the table for you. I would also try running a allignment as well.
