Kenmore HE3T Washer - Page 6 Questions & Answers
Getting code H and then
Hi
Error code FH appears when No water is detected entering machine or Pressure switch trip is not detected. If after 30 seconds the control does not detect water entering machine and then valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed.
Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display. If there is no water entering the unit then make sure that the inlet valves are working fine. You may need to check the continuity at the inlet valves. If the valves are fine then check whether inlet water hose, it may be plugged. Also check for inlet water screen at the valve. However, if the water is entering into the washer then the Drain pump might not be working. Also inspect the Pressure Switch hose whether it is in good condition and properly connected to Tub and Pressure switch. Also check hoses for leak and inspect the flow meter. Hope this helps...

The spin cycle has been loader for about a week.
there is a bearing in the very back behind the pulley,, it involves taking the whole drum out then taking the outer drum off of the inner drum,,, in all alot of time, and if you are not carefull it will leak from the seam of the outer drum,,, it just depends on how much you like it,, for a service tech to do it it could be anywhere from 250-450 bucks depending on how good they are, ( if they are good the more they will charge but you will be happy with the work they done) pluse parts about 100 bucks for the seals and bearings
My washer would go through the wash cycle but
One of two things, either the coupling connecting the motor to the drum is defective(almost looks like a rubber/plastic hockey puck that connects them.Or if it is good and you can turn the drum by hand you may have blown a phaze out of the electrical motor.Inspect by removing the back cover.Let me know if this helps or require more help after inspection
Horrible grinding noise when tub spins and the tan
It is for sure you have a bearing problem. You will have to replace both tubs (front and rear). I also suggest you replace the door seal. Check with Sears to have the part numbers and prices. They are a bit expensive parts....hope that helps!!
Our HE3t washer dispenses the
May be a defective solenoid. there is a solenoid that is (probably) under the top of your washer. There should be 2to4 screws on the baqckside, at the top. UNPLUG the washer, then slide the top back off the machine. There should be 2 solenoids hooked inline with tubes going from the dispenser to the tub.
Undo the wires of the solenoids, AFTER marking the wires so they get back in the right place. Swap the wires. POLARITY matters so BE CAREFUL. plug washer in to wall socket and add some sofetner. If the softener stops, you have bad solenoid. If not you need to check voltages.

DOOR WONT OPEN FLASH F-35
The F35 indicates that the main control board detects a problem with the analog pressure sensor (water level pressure switch) in the washer. This component senses and controls water level in the washer. This failure could be caused by a pinched or broken air hose between the air trap at the bottom of the washer tub and the analog pressure sensor. It can also be caused by a clogged air trap or a failed analog pressure sensor. If you are able to unplug the washer and pull off the top panel, you can check for the probable cause of this failure. To remove the top panel, remove the screws on the very back of the panel that secure it to the washer cabinet. Pull the top panel back slightly and then and off of the washer. The analog pressure sensor is shown in the second image below. You can see the location of this component in the first image. It is on the side wall just behind the expansion control board. You can check the air pressure hose connection and the wire harness connection on this component. If you find no problems, then you will likely need to replace the component.
The washing machine runs thru the entire cycle but
if the unit is a front loader then remove the front panel on bottom and there should be adrain pump check for any obstructions in the drain pump...some of kenmore models aare now putting clean outs in this area also and you will be able to open a cap and check for any foreign devri..it sounds like you have a drain pump problem and may luck out by cleaning unit out...be aware there will be water so make sure you unplug unit and have a few large towels ready for the gallon or so of water... these pumps are made with plastic impellars now so the slightest trash inthem will stop operation....hope this helps you out...... p.s a wet vac works great for this process....

My HE3 washer is displaying F35 error
The F35 failure is displayed if the analog pressure switch has a calibration error.
There are two things you can check for this problem if you're comfortable with do-it-yourself.
Remove the washer top to access the pressure switch on the right hand side of the cabinet near the top. See the image below. You'll want to check if the pressure hose is fixed correctly and not loose. Check if the Air trap is not blocked. You can do this by removing the hose and blowing in it towards the tub. It should blow freely and you might even hear bubles. If you can't blow or it's hard to blow then most likely the hose is kinked or blocked.
If the hose is not blocked or kinked then the pressure switch W10156252 is most likely the problem and will need to be replaced.
The soap tray is not getting water.
the water valve is in open?if is open remove the hose connecting to water valve and clean the screen filter,is is clean check the water valve if is running, try to open again the unit with normal operation check the water valve if the valve is not sound its means the water valve is worn out and need to replace for the new one, easy to remove by using screw driver, buy same model were the brand locate in your area and fix it,but much better to call the authorized service center to fix its more safe and comfortable to you also have a warranty after fix it.
F02 code flashing, what will
you have a clogged pump
Unplug the Machine
Remove Three Torx (hex heads) screws on front bottom of machine(just
above your floor). Slighty lift the panel and pull the bottom towards
you. Pump is right in middle in front of you.
Unscrew the pump handle with your hand, get something to catch the water thats left in it in.
Then that water pump filter will pull out and you can check for stuff in it.

Kenmore elite HE3t select wash mode press cycle
Disconnect the power cord, PLEASE. Remove the kick plate on the bottom front by removing the 3 screws below it. You will need a hex socket and extension or a torx screw driver. If there is water in the machine and it will not drain you will need a shop vac and some old towels to catch the water when you open the filter. Now, you will see the filter in front of you. Have the towels ready and vac turned on. Quickly unscrew the filter cap and stick the vac hose right in the filter to catch the water. Clean the filter cap. Did you find any socks, money or other debris? If yes that may have been your problem. Put the filter back on and HAND tighten well. Test the machine. From now on empty all pockets before you do the laundry
Error message dl F-what does this mean?

p.s if after you replace the door lock assembly and you still have the same code you would then have to replace the ccu (main computer board ) but most of the time the door lock assembly fixes this problem thanks again

Washer regularly stops in middle of cycle
"F11" is a Serial Communications error. This is an indication of a communications problem between the Central Control Unit (CCU), Motor Control Unit (MCU), or the interconnecting wiring between the two. The following link explains:
http://www.fixya.com/support/r3608695-f11_error_code
You will need to remove the top panel of the washer and check all the connections at the CCU to be sure.
FYI: If you do determine that the CCU is the cause of the problem, some sites may carry a refurbished version that costs less than a new one. For a full explanation of all the error codes, each one of these washers comes with a technical data sheet inside.
To access, you will need to remove the lower toe panel under the door. The access screws are located under the bottom front edge of the panel. You may have to prop the two front feet of the washer up for better access ( a 2x4 works well for this). With the screws removed, the panel should drop down, then come off. If the tech sheet isn't directly behind the panel, it will be affixed to one of the interior cabinet walls.
The tech sheet lists all error code definitions, troubleshooting data, diagnostics procedures and wiring diagrams. I mention the tech sheet because you may need it to troubleshoot this error code.
