Different size tires and rims will make a difference on how your speedometer works. In order to correct this, you will either have to change your tire size, have the gears in the rear axel changed, or put a different speedometer gear or adapter on the transmission.

Fuel system

This sounds very much like a fuel filter or fuel pump issue. I would replace the fuel filter first, not too expensive or difficult to do, and never hurts to replace them anyway.
An indicator light coming on tells me that the computer is finding something, and probably pressure related. If the changing of the filter does minimal to improve the problem, see about checking the fuel pressure under acceleration to make sure it is within limits.
I'm not familiar with the Fiat, so I'm not sure what all components we are working with here. Other things that cause this are a fuel pressure regulator (noticeable if you are fine with slight acceleration only to "bog" when you throttle heavy), catalytic converter issues (make sure it is not "plugged up" and flow is unrestricted).

1985 chevy blazer smoked and died

To start off you can probably get a manual at Autozone. To get a good idea of what's really going on in the engine you might want to check compression, wet and dry, check fuel output psi and do the basics, IE plugs, rotor and cap, plug wires, etc. At least if you do the checks you'll have an idea of the engines condition, if it's worth putting alot of money into. Please rate this and good luck.

Guages in 85 s-10,don't work with lights on.What's the cause?

Electrical gremlins are wierd. My guess is there is a ground unconnected. There is the main ground from the battery to the motor and probably a pigtail ground the the body.

Did you mess with anything under the dash?
