i would return the mule to the dealer where you bought it,and let the warranty pay for the battery and testing,etc.

is the ignition switch bad? if it has been working fine off of the 2 wire switch,thats what i would replace with.if it worked with 2 wire switch why would you need 4 wire switch.

I suggest you check the exhaust isn't partially blocked and then if OK ensure the cam timing, valve clearances, etc. is correct.

Open fill cap and oil level should be full.

first thing I would check is the CDI box and then the pick up coil (under the flywheel) and I have seen the magnets come loose in the mag this will stop it in its tracks
