no told ,model no photo of bad screens, gee we need to see them. why no ask them what power IC means. to reset any laptop old we:

1. remove huge battery first. run on AC power pack only.
2. hold power button for 10 full seconds. and release, power i reset.
3. bad coin cell is next to replace. then reset bios inside BIOS. page 1.
4. set time and date and boot order to hdd0.
5. save
6. exit bios
7. cold boot it #2 above

2004/5 junky and zero support mobo post. P4 has no igpu on the die/chip, so none there, and no vga port there. 1: coin cell is dead this old. AND ALL MOBO JUMPERS SET RIGHT.. 2: all via lan chip dead, for newer OS ,VIA IS zero support. 3:BIOS only works with GPU card, usb rear + keboard 4: cpu correct type p4, and no bent pins bought off fleabay. 5: 1 stick of DDR1 RAM. 1GB MAX PER STICK, 6: MOBO JPW1. DIY too. and done wrong, if quiet is the goal. your centigrade temps are normal. no goals told, gaming or what:?? if gamed fast, that makes huge heat and must be expelled. or things fail. hard. Heat is the #1 cause of electronics failures. (fans cured) DIY steps 1:I buy a top brand case with huge slow spin fans 120mm and even larger the larger they are I can run them slower for same air flow.!! I can also add my own fan controllers. to any PC, DIY has no limits. 2: the PSU is sold in vast types, and some like mine has USB port and and app that lets me set any thermal fan speed I want. so we pick the PSU now and most PSU 99% run full speed all the time.(cheap) better PSU have 3 speeds, based on thermal sensors inside the PSU. learn to shop wisely PSU, is the answer. Cheap PSU are full speed all the time, ever read up on Corsair? 3: MOBO some mobo like my beloved ASUS, Z270prime allows full fan controls of CPU and case fans. or set to auto mode. some mobo (vast) do not allow that because they do not want to pay out warranty claims after you burn the VRM bank to *****. Like OEMs modo do. all. most have zero controls allowed by you. Asus knows we use huge fans, and we want to set the DIY fan rpm thermal rules based on the fans I WANT to use, amazing no? ASUS is king, never MSI , Gigabtyes is good too.. your 4 pin fan jack is PWM controlled, modulated by the BIOS this is one of BIOS many jobs here. the 3 pin fan sys, is full speed all the time so use only large quiet fans here. page 17 in your manual states "if the mainboard has a System Hardware Monitor chipset on- board, you must use a specially designed fan with speed sensor to take advantage of the CPufan control." that means an option you pick day 1 from MSI. I do not like MSI at all there manual is no good and faq missing There are after market 3rd part fan control APP's that can work for CPU only. google finds them. frankly the choices are endless. do not hotswap any parts inside any PC, unplug the PSU AC cord from the AC wall jack wait 15 min, then worn on he PC. hot swapping parts, is never wise. (PC rule not true on servers) fans are BIOS controlled do not flash blos on a whim. to make BIOS find a fan any fan or ram, etc. old boot it from no power at all, AC not connected then connect fan or other things, drives, ram etc. then put back AC power the hold power button for 10 seconds and release now bios can do its job, to PnP all devices on the mobo,. learn that the PC simply turned off is not off +5vdc, standby power is there, all the time so learn to make it go dead first, or blow up things you will. the fans are not hotswap rated, at all. nor ram nor drives. yes sata drives can be hot swapped if all 4 things are correct. and are not here. on my real server yes. learn to service PC safely.

steps , classic all batteries good or remove the huge battery and run on AC power pack only and if coin cell is there. it too can be bad at 7 years old next we test the HDD first. doing the smart test, if bad it just be replaced, now. NO OS on earth runs on bad HDd or can its recovery partition be good now.(double doomed ) 2008 netbook is old no battery lasts 10 years, (your date) battery big drops off bottom easy, run on AC pack coin cell CMOS battery RTC is inside, and is due.

the vga port must be enable first. using the hot keys told in your free manual MSI.COM ALSO all batteries here are no good. both big'n and coin dead.

you skipped step 1disable all sleep , hibernate modes in the OS power settings for sure and at the least USB ports not allowed to sleep.no PC toldon desktop use real wifi PCi_e cards. not this thing.The USB dongle WIFI must never be allowed to sleep it or the usb port both. or fails.this keeps 5vdc to the dongle full time and keeps it working full time. PC on.

the camera is real, its Physical and pointed only at you, not the PC. screen what are you doing? buy and external cam and use that. physical.

no OS told but at MSI.com get the drivers and load them and if this PC has a cam, (vast do not or is and option then) it works.

a 2001 made mobo wow a new record here on RELIC-city. no cd photo of it posted, the disk must show microsoft made or from MSI (XP recovery)? but no photo of it told XP support ended 2014, and is virus magnet ,why go there? nobody on earth can guess what is in your hands(disk-wise) here are the rules (short)

1. a real OS CD. XP cd rom MS
2. boot order CD first.
3. hdd not bad, most this old are Dead.
4. 1 keyboard. usb.
5. the RTC coin cell is dead, and none of this works like that.
6. fans not dead for sure CPU and PSU
7. omg you last person on earth with xp floppy set.

no sata ports hdd, no way to run model SATA HDD or ODD no PCI express slots only IDE pata sockets. for useless now dead PATA drives.

the camera is a real camera in the screen bezel pointed to you not to itself or the screen of any laptop how can it see backwards. a cell phone has front and rear camera this PC is not a Cell phone. answer 2 NO OS told at all we can not guess OS you run. but the drivers are wrong and or MSI apps to make the camera work like new. OS upgrade love to break cameras, did you? the most confusing thing is take pictures/ videos using the internet. what does that mean? be clear on use or get wrong answers.

MSI WIND U210-006US this? it has full model number and lots of sub models. parts are at ebay (pure luck) any button works wired correctly but most do not fit this case. MSI.com does not sell these parts, now. 2009 made PC. is 9 years old then and 13 now. google for parts ebay for parts. use true full model names for parts or get the wrong parts./.

intel 915 is relic now, 2004 year mobo, a relic and coin cell battery is dead now, not one lasted 14+ years ever. no OS told by you at all, not one clue just nebular OS. no cd told, no label on CD told. The CD in the box new is for drivers only and does not boot from MSI. only MS disks boot here (XP was it new) I can only guess it is a bogus CD-r copy of some OS ? Many PCs this old can not read CD-R or DVD-R only real CDs to boot any CD, the CD must be in top of boot order or all other things removed like HDD and USB . then the CD most be bootable format like real Microsoft disk all are. NO OS told at all but is not linux or chrome OS , right. my guess is the CDs in the box new in the box then confuse you? the msi is only drivers, the manual on CD and utilities, a OS install is on a MS disks with XP SP3 best in class then. to boot a good CD (XP )<< and real, clones may fail. it must be in boot order first as CD then power on and hammer the space bar (easy to find and hit) this magic tapping of space bar, forces the CD to boot ! and does if not , bad Disk bad , CD drive , gee its over 14years old coin cell bad or settings wrong in bios boot order.
