Error #12 Shows on my lexmark x4270 all in one how do i clear it

Hello there,

In my experience I've never come across an error #12 on a X4270. I've seen an error 1200 & error 1203 a couple of times. Did you get this error after installing a new cartridge? then there are chances that the new cartridge that you installed is defective. The best way to figure if out is to take both the cartridge out and power recycle the printer with the cartridge out. Check out if the operator panel says "cartridge missing" when it is powered back on. If it doesn't say "cartridge missing" then the printer hardware is defective. You would need to get it serviced. If the printer comes up with "cartridge missing" message, then either one of the two carts that you have is defective. I would suggest you to insert one cart first and close the cover and check if it says "cartridge missing" If it does come up with that message then insert the other cart too.. If you get Error 1203 on after inserting a cart, then that cart is defective and needs to be replaced.

Merry Christmas!

Brother 350c

First printing a photo takes lots of ink , it depends on the color of the photo , cyan is blue which maybe consumed more in the printing or there changes that the ink may have dried in the cart hence your getting this error ,remove cart take damp paper towel and hold the paper on the place where ink comes out gently for 20 second ,make it does not touch copper contact it may damage the cart ,make sure you check the place where ink with dry paper its usually bottom of the cart and repeat the above step with dry paper towel and try to print if you get the same error then you need to replace the cart or you can contact brother support and get cart replaced , once cart is used you need print once in week to keep cart from drying, you can use any photo paper which is compatible with printer .

Good luck....

MMy printer will not print, fax, copy, or scan. Theres a messages coming up saying Error#1203

Error 1203 on a Lexmark is an issue that occurs either when a cartridge is bad or the printer cartridge Slot is bad... I would suggest you to try cleaning the copper contacts of the both carts and cart slot in the printer and try again..

If that doesn't work just call up their support number and check for replacement..

Canon imagePROGRAF W6200

To reset the 'MT CARTRIDGE FULL SOON' error.
Enter Service mode Hold down the paper source and online button at the same time, hit the power button once.Continue to hold down the paper and online buttons until you see the printer name "Canon W6200" on the printers LCD display, then release the two buttons. The printer will initialize & enter service mode.
In service mode, scroll sideways until you see the 'Initialize' menu, scroll down to 'W-ink', and press enter. At this point I did something (scroll sideways and hit enter I think) and it came up with 'New W-ink Cart' Hit Enter to get '=New W-ink Cart' and Online to Accept. I powered down and back up, error all clear.

Inputting new ink cartridges

Error 1102 means cart error. Try cleaning the copper contacts on the cart and the contacts in the printer also. If still fails, then put old carts and check if u still get same error. If u dont get the error then there is a problem with the cart itself. But if you have bought a refilled cart then the print heads on the carts are bad. Needs replacement.
