Hp business inkjet 1100d acts like its printing a page, but it comes out blank. I have tried cleaning and priming the heads, but it didnt work--still a blank page prints out. I know there is ink in the...

Your printhead is probably clogged. It's a replaceable (expensive) part. Try cleaning it first. Do a google search on how to clean a clogged printhead for your printer model. In most cases there are excellent YouTube videos that will guide you better than any written description.

Feeds a blank sheet of paper after every print job

check and see if your cursor goes to the next page after your last written one in your document. If so then backspace to your last written page so that the blank page disappears because having this page the computer takes it as part of the document but because there is nothing on it a blank page comes out.

Only test page prints nothing else prints blank page then starts 2nd blank page and stops midway through

Does the printer display any errors on the printer screen? You could try performing a print cleaning, check this manual for more directions how to do that.

Hi we use hp 1280 deskjet printer now facing problem that a4 size printing is good but a3 size is not printing .its giving blank page

sir it is because when you change the paper for printer you also have to change the size of the page in the computer if you are like using MS word you change its Page size too. that is why it is giving blank page. changing it size in computer would work.

HP Bus Inkjet 2800 won't print 11x17 with Vista

Many people had a similar problem with the Color Inkjet cp1700 B-size printer.

Another solution that worked for some people was installing the hp deskjet 9800 printer driver.

It appears what you need is a patched .gpd file for the BI 2800.
Try emailing Bob Headrick, who has done these patches. (Thanks Bob)!
Be sure to put Vista and Large Format Printing 11x17 in the subject line.

You'd think between HP and MS, they'd have this working right out of the box.
Did they think people would buy a B-size printer so they could hook it up to Vista and then not want to print mainly B-size documents?
They would have had happier customers if they would have included B-size support but left out A-size!
Amazing!

Good Luck

Will not "Print" copies.

It may be that you are putting the page face down in the paper feeder when it needs to be face up or the other way around.

Half a page prints only. Continues a single page on a 2nd page.

check the print preview to see if that is how it's formatted..otherwise, you may need to install new drivers

Vista

Re: Vista and Print Server check out a reply from 2006 at:

I need HP Printer Driver for Vista - DriverHeaven.net

gave hint to use hp deskjet 5400 driver instead of the hp business inkjet 2230 driver i have been trying for days with my Netgear PS101 print server (v1?). Finally works, at least for a complete looking test page and the preferences for the 5400 printer seem clearer than those given for the 2230. maybe that is why print servers and printers are not working...it is the driver supplied by HP is wacko for vista?

Hp business inkjet 2800

Sounds like your driver is sending A4 size documents, and you've got Letter in the drawer. When you do that, it runs out of room on the Letter-size page, since A4 is a tad longer, and has to continue onto a second page. Margins being what they are, the second page is usually blank.

Hope that helps.
