How do I top-up the transmition oil in my 1988 Mitsubishi Lancer. I can locate the dip-stick, but not the location for topping up the oil. Regards Ian

Use a funnel and put in the transmission oil through the transmission dipstick tube. Don't put too much. Insert transmission oil in increments just to be sure.

My 2000 ford f350 dually 7.3 liter turbo diesal loses power after running a cold start after 7 min of driving , then the power( from the motor is still running the whole time) turns off and on again the...

Inside the tank there is a plastic housing. if you look at bottem of this you can see little tabs that can be released with a small pocket size screwdriver. inside you will find 2 screens, see if they are stopped up. you can clean them and put back together. Just so you will know, some of these have a round piece that looks like a large pick up. this may fall off when you pick the assembly up out of tank. just put it back when you put it in tank. it rest on bottem of tank and cannot come out once installed. GOOD LUCK

Diesal engin will not start without eather

check the glow plugs circuit to ensure that the pre-combustion chambers are being suficiently heated. also fuel cetane rating must be high enough for cold weather starting. diesel will gel when cold if the cetane rating is low non winter diesel that is. A good fuel stabilizer could help. hope this helps

1988 f350 oil pan installation ,i have the motor jacked as high as it will go, pan will not clear the oil pump in the front of motor. Do i have to take intake off to get more clearance? remove oil pump?...

You may have to attempt to jack the tranny up somemore and get it even though it really wont give you much more room.I have never removed intake to do one although, being on the ground and not a lift changes things.Removeing transmission will give you clearance and will let you clean area better for when you put it back together.

F350 no start

I have a feeling you got a wholed of unleaded fuel or bad fuel
I drive a diesel box truck the station I always took it to the fuelman put unleaded in the diesal tanks and the truck just died it had to have the gas tank completed drained and cleaned out but also ask yourself how many miles are on it and when was last tune up and if you live in a cold climate I recommend a heater block plug
