The blinking is just an attention light so there's nothing to worry about that. Try adjusting your paper tray to the paper size you are about to use. Or try checking the duplexer panif its positioned properly. Hope this helps.

1350 "out of paper", but there is paper in the tray.

If the printer is making noice as it is preparing to print but does not take paper, then it has broken gears inside. Disasembly takes a lot of time and the spare part is called "printer mechanics" which is the half of the printer.

Screen displays message saying "cover

It could be that the cover sensor is stuck or could also be due to the cartridges in the printer. Please follow the steps below on how to identify and fix the problem:
  1. Remove the sheets of paper from the feeder.
  2. Open the printer cover and remove the cartridges.
  3. Close the printer cover.
  4. Re-brick your printer by pulling out power supply, black box where the power cord is plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.
  5. When the printer turns on, reinsert one cartridge first.
  6. Close the printer cover and check for any errors.
  7. Reinsert the other cartridge.
  8. Replace whichever cartridge is causing the error to appear.
  9. If no error appears, reload some sheets of paper and try to print a document again to verify that problem is fixed.
If the problem continues, please contact the Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.

Hi, I've got an HP Photosmart D7160. It continually says "Paper Jam". Actually the error screen says something like "please remove paper jam and then press OK", but there is no paper...

This error message is displayed by the printer when paper is jammed in one or more locations. In such a case, users are recommended to remove the jammed paper from the specified location. The entire paper path must be checked for any pieces of paper. To stop the message, open and close the top most cover of the printer. Lastly, verify the flags and the sensors. If the problem persists, the cause of the error message could be a broken sensor or sensor lever.get more help and information for hp printer support hope this helps you.

Thanks
