Near the bottom of the Whereto>City screen is a button to change states. Select it first, so you can change to New York, then enter Troy when it returns to the City screen.

Where to ..... Address.... on this screen where is says SELECT City in ( New York ) to find another city or state go to bottom of screen and select the State / Province

Go to Where To...... Address...... on top of screen you have where its searching saying ( Select City in )

to change that look on bottom of screen there is .... Change State / Province

How are you entering the state? You have to put a space between "New" and "York". The space key is the one at the bottom that looks like this key "[" sideways. If you type it as "NEWY" it will come back with no matches.

I hit Guan by mistake but meant to enter new york. How can I change it to new york?

Ok, you've tried a reset, but have you tried a Master Reset? Doing this WILL ERASE ALL OF YOUR FAVORITES, but it may help. Turn the unit off. Press the "On" button with your finger on the bottom right of the screen at the same time. Release the "On" button, but keep pressing the screen until the unit asks if you're sure you want to reset all data. Press "Yes". See if this helps.
