Re: Were is the drum cartiage located in the m128, says...
You have to open the front cover and the left side door to access, it is located inside the front cover on the right sife of the machine.
You have to unlatch it and re insert it .

Switched off the Printer and reinsert the cartiadge, and switched it on and the reset button for 7 seconds. And then give a print from your pc. If you facing the same problems, then without doing any thing just again press the reset bottom of your printer for 10seconds. I think this will solved your problems.
paper jam usulay case by the heat of our toner cartiage. our cartiage became like magnet to our paper.
in my case i use a wet tissue (for baby type, non alcohol), i clean the drum (i hope u know where).
for sometimes the paper jam didn't happen.
i think our SCX is old enough
turn off printer- turn on again, when the cartridge holder moves to the left lift the cover it should remain on the left... insert cartridges and click into place... job done...
I've never seen this model in Australia but could you confirm if its drum or toner either way its just the machine letting you know that it needs changing soon, however we have other models that do the same and run for quite a while before the quality drops off
Go to menu to reset drum settings. I think you leave the front cover open press the right arrow then 1 one the lcd shows replace drum then after the lcd says accepted close the front cover.
It says there is no cartridge, or does it say that the cartridge is empty?
First, you must realize there are two cartridges. A drum and a toner.
If you bought a new toner, pulled out the drum and put the new toner
in, you have pulled a DOH! You can't just put the toner in. You have to
take your old drum cartridge, remove the toner portion and install the
new toner into your old drum and then install the entire assembly back
into the machine. I hope you didn't throw your drum out thinking it was
all one cartridge (I've seen it happen). This is where reading the
owner's manual helps.
If not, then one of the contacts must have been damaged. Remove the
cartridge and look inside the machine. See if you can find any of the
metal contacts on the side of the inner chamber that is bent or damaged
and try to bend it back.
Check the drum and make sure none of the contacts are damaged.
If the unit is still saying Toner Empty, try this. On the left side of
the toner there will be a while lever in a semi-circular notch.
Unplug the unit, use a small screwdriver or a key to push that white
lever back to the front of the notch. Put the drum and toner back into
the machine and plug the power back in.
