The Owner's Manual says "IT IS NOWMAL FOR OIL TO SEEP WHEN SAW IS NOT IN USE. EMPTY OIL TANK AFTER EACH USE TO PREVENT SEEPAGE." Istore mine on a cookie sheet.

The only oil you need for your electric chain saw is "Bar and Chain" oil...specially formulated oil sold at Loews,HomeDepot,Ace Hardware, Auto parts stores,etc...
You use this oil to lubricate the chain and bar of your chainsaw when you are using it.
It will go into the oil tank and auto feed to the chain and bar...but keep a check on the oil level to make sure it is being used.
Refill tank when needed.

You do not mix oil and gas on an electric chain saw...
The only oil you will use on the chain saw it "Bar and Chain" oil...specially formulated for the use on the chain and bar on your electric chainsaw...
You can purchase the oil at any Lowes,HomeDepot,Ace Hardware...etc..

Bar Oil is a special oil used on chainsaw chains and the bar they rotate around to lubricate them during the cutting process.
It can be bought at HomeDepot, Lowes,Ace Hardware,etc.

You will use "Bar and Chain Oil",it is used to lube the chain and bar of your chainsaw as you are using it.
You will push down on the top of the oil fill lid to push the oil onto the bar and chain.
It can be bought at any small engine repair shop, WalMart,KMart,HomeDepot,Lowes,etc.
You will fill the reservoir with the oil till it is about 1/2 inch below the surface of the opening of the oil fill on top of the chainsaw.

Loosen fastener that holds bar tight, turn tension screw clockwise until chain touches bottom of bar lightly.

Take saw to a good farm supply store.

Remove fasteners from plate holding bar in place, bar and chain can be removed at this point. To tighten find tension screw, turn clockwise.

Simple. Get it sharpened. Where? A chain saw repair place. Find one in the Yellow Pages.

Chain oil. You can find it at Walmart or anywhere. But you can also just use any motor oil 10W30 or 30W etc.

Could be a bad power cord, bad switch or bad brushes/springs in the motor. An AC voltmeter is helpful for tracking down these types of problems. Good luck!

Hi, if its electric all you need is bar n chain oil. Any brand is fine. Fill the reservoir each time it runs low ( probably about every half hour of cutting). Hope this helps, regards Phil.

Your are going to have to take off the side cover (the bar side cover) and then pull the bar off the two screws a little bit to give the chain some slack. Remove the chain from the clutch drum, replace the chain, and put the side cover back on. Hope this helps.
