What the heck is wrong with my tv??!?!

It looks like the power supply is giving up on your TV. The strobing is because the TV may not be getting enough power or is not being filter properly.
How old is the TV?

Tv freezes, goes black, starts again

I had a similar problem, mine was a bad earth connection on the main (tv input) board. it earths through the screw mountings so check they are screwed in nice and tight, probably best to remove and then refit it.

Samsung le32r black screen

Hi.

Your problem sounds like inverter has failed.
To prove this you need to remove the back from your tv set.
Then switch it on and look carefully through the small holes on the metal shielding that is directly over back of screen you are looking for bright white light.
If you cant see it easily try doing again but in A dark room.
If you can see white light through the holes in metal shielding the inverter is working & fault is else where.
If no light can be seen problem is with inverter you will need to remove the inverter pcb & check the transformers with ohm meter to see if one is open circuit. Allso look on same pcb for any smd circuit protectors that may be open circuit.

Samsung 32" LCD HD TV Problem

I would first try replacing the cable if the problem remains the same it will almost certainly be a bad connection on the socket or panel in the back of the TV.

Simple to solve if you have any soldering/TV repair experience.
If not take to the repair shop, it shouldn't cost a lot to put it right.

Polaroid 32" lcd tv

Lori
Take it back... That is either the digital board or the logic main board and that's way too soon for you to be having those problems.. Heck a Poloroid usually lasts a couple of years before having these type of severe problems, and even that is sooner than most major brands... You still have warranty - I STRONGLY recommend you take it back..

Color problem with Samsung 40 in LCD HDTV

Check your component cables. You have 3 colors coming in. Red,Green and Blue. Make sure the Red cable is good. You can do this by substituting the red cable only, or just change all 3 cables

One year old Samsung digital has green color tint; reset doesn't work

One of two scenario. One, you have a bad LDS cable. This cable is found inside the set. This is the cable that is plug into the panel, The other end is plug into the main board. This cable may also just need cleaning. The end that plug into the Panel may have some glue put on it to keep it from getting loose. You may want to unplug it and try cleaning it . Two, You may have a bad panel. In that case you may want to consider getting a new set.

Samsung LE32R41BD problem

Hello johnque,

I would suspect that this might be a back-light problem. However this may also be a screen issue. There are many things this could be and it will require that a person troubleshoots the unit to actually find out what is wrong. I know you wanted a quick fix for this but this unit has to be diagnosed, so to that end, if you have a background in electronics these are the tools you will need to complete this task;

1) A schematic diagram of the TV
2) A Multimeter
3) An Universal Video Analyzer or Computer Monitor Analyzer
4) An Isolation Transformer

With the tools and knowledge of electronics this becomes an easy problem to solve. Now if you do not have knowledge of electronics I would suggest that you take your set to a qualified TV repair shop for servicing.

Thank you,
