Water not heating
Your dishwasher does not HEAT the water. That function is done by the water heater located separately. Turn the hot water on at the sink associated with your dishwasher and wait until it is hot BEFORE activating dishwasher. The hot water will flow into the machine and provide the heated water to clean. As for the drying function, check the control switches. There may be a module that is replaceable but a service technician has the needed tools to determine electrical functionality. There is no visual test for circuitry issues.
How to pull out dishwasher
Are you asking how to remove an under-counter dishwasher to fix or replace? The best bet would check your manual. If not available, first thing you must do is shut off power to the dishwasher. Usually there is a breaker labeled dishwasher in your breaker/fuse panel. Next, turn off the water to the dishwasher. There should be a valve under the kitchen sink with a hose that leads to the dishwasher. Once that is shut off, you need to remove the lower panel (closest to the floorl, underneath the door) from the dishwasher. You will now be able to access the water and electrical connections. Once you remove them, you're almost ready to pull the dishwasher out. Now you must remove the 2 screws that hold the dishwasher to the underside of the counter. Look up just above the door and you should see two brackets sticking out under the counter. Remove the screws and you should be able to gently pull the dishwasher out from under the counter.

The pressure chamber or hose (pressure chamber to sump) may be blocked and the microswitch is being activated because the water is not entering the tank quick enough. Isolate from electric, remove lid and left panel (looking from the front). There is a plastic chamber bottom right of left side with two microswitches, either this is blocked or the hose that runs from it to the right and along the back of the kick panel and into the sump. Clear either or both (make sure all hoses are pushed true when repositioning).

Dishwasher leaking water
Either you have a failed gasket or a door out of adjustment. Here's how you check the gasket. Look at the gasket and see if there is a part that is ripped or has a hole in it. You would then need to replace it. Here's how to check the door adjustment.Find some notebook paper, and close the door on the paper. The paper should pull medium hard to get it out.If the paper pulls out easily ( for example: on the bottom of the door) the door is out of adjustment. You will be needing to take it apart and find out why.It may be bent, or broken, or just worn out.If the paper pulls out easily, and you are not in a position to replace the gasket now, you might at least consider that you could add a piece of stick-on gasket to build the door gasket up so it did not leak. Some hardware stores sell stick-on gasket by the roll. You could try it.Be blessed.

Residue left on crockery and
The problem is most likely that there is still water residue at the bottom of your machine. If the machine is not fully drained it picks up some of the residue and sprays that onto the dishes during the final rinse, leaving an unhealthy and unsightly film on everything.
Remove the bottom strainers plates and make sure that the outlet pipe is not kinked, that there is nothing obstructing the pipe or the pump or selector valve. If possible back flush through the outlet pipe and try draining the machine once more before using it again.

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors or back feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET valve to open up and allow water to flow into. Also after the program is completing to the final stage the drain vavle/pump must work and cut off If this does not happen then the voltage at the inlet valve/drain pump must be checked or the fault relates to the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.
