My issue was my Engine light came on and I went to Autozone and O'reilly's to have them scan why my engine light came on and they told me it was putting up Error Code P0122. Looking at some forums and post was able to fix my issue on my own. Now if you replace your TPS module and the issue has not cleared you can move on to the next step in troubleshooting your error code, but in my instance the replacement fix'd mine. Here is the process I used which took about 10-15min and saved me about $300;
1. Obtain new part (I ordered my OEM part from ebay $30-$60)
2. Disconnect battery,Positive side.
3. mark the current position with a sharpie or something, you want to install in the exact position the original one was in before removing. (take a pic with your phone).
4. Disconnect the wire to the TPS module/unit.
5. Unscrew the unit (should be x2 screws, note how tight the screw is, you'll need to put same tightness when re-applying screws).
6. Put new Module/Unit in place matching the original position of the old one, just line up where you made the marks and secure with screws.
7. re-connect the wire back to the TPS module/unit.
8. re-connect battery.
9. start your car and your done.
Your check engine light should be off now for code P0122. if still on, it may be another code and if so continue troubleshooting the other codes/issues. This process resolved my Error Code P0122.
