Loud humming noise on my 2000 Crown victoria

My mechanic can not diagnose without hearing the problem. Whenever the problem is on it disappears by the time I get to the Mechanic.

SOURCE: My front end makes a loud humming noise.

Alignment will not create a sound by it's self. The most common cause of humming (especially if you have an agressive tread design)is a wear pattern in the tires...check for that or rotate the tires around & see if the noise changes. If it does then you know it's in the tires. & Not always, but most of the time a bearing noise will increase or decrease in intensity if you load up one side at a time by doing 35-50 mph & turning slightly to each side.

SOURCE: How to change spark plugs and coil connector wires

Each coil mounts on top of the spark plug and is bolted down to the intake manifold with a 8mm bolt. You'll need to unplug the electrical connector to the coil, remove the 8mm bolt and pull the coil and boot up off the plug and out of the motor. You'll need a 5/8 inch spark plug socket, a ratchet and a 6 inch extension. Also a telescoping magnet with help getting the plug up out of the hole.

When i put the car in drive it just sits and theres this loud clunky/rattling revving sound?

the hum noise is a worn wheel bearing maybe from getting so hot it burnt the bearing. the rev and bang was your engine blowing. it will cost more money to fix these problems then just getting another car like this one.

My pontiac montana 1999 is making a loud humming sound only when iam moving. The faster I go the louder it gets and every once in awhile it jerks

you will have to ask a local mechanic to diagnose this noise for you as without hearing the noise i have no idea what it could be ,if i could hear the noise i could tell you straight away ,sorry to be a bore but its one of the joys of motoring as this noise could be a wheel bearing or a water pump and without hearing it ???'

Without being hurtful and writing a
lot about your issues, and you have 3 or more

Just take it to a repair shop.

If you always do you own work, I would
guess you would have said so, and we
could work with you

Car making loud humming noise from the air intake or air filter when idling ,a/c on and pressing gas petal.

the idle air bypass valve is making noise and resonating through the air inlet the valve needs to be replaced there is also a revised hose to the valve to reduce noise if it hasn't already been replaced
