Voltage regulator is inside alternator

I have a 92 Crown Vic first and second works fine reverse works fine when it shifts in the third gear it goes to slipping and overdraft can you help me fix this problem thank you

check under hood for a vacuum resorvoir and see if it has a hole in it or cracked and leaking vacuum,,look for vacuum disconect or broken ,if it is not under hood replace vacuum switch behind ac selector head

Take out the inner fenders or work through them but this is hard take out the inner fender splash guards it gives you more room from underneath and remove the tires those bolts are prone to snapping from age and corrosion so liquid wrench them for a few days letting it penetrate keep spraying while driving it if you have to use the car

Look at the module switch

Sounds like fuel pump wiring, but could be fuel pressure regulator is bad or vacuum hose to it is bad. Also check for ANY vacuum leaks. Replace fuel filter,too. don-ohio

When was the last time the transmission oil was replaced?

Disconnect the battery NEGATIVE cable for 5 minutes.

You either have a leak from the pump area or one of your hoses is leaking. Start your motor and watch for where it is leaking from.

Air ride suspension basically works like this. you have a small air compressor and a sensor that connects between the rear axle and the under body Frame. When this sensor detects a load movement like more or less weight it turns on the air compressor to air up or opens a exhaust valve to let air out. most common problems with this system. broken or disconnected sensor. leak in the air lines between compressor and shocks. or a bad or weak compressor.

Your exhaust system could need to be replaced. By removing the cats you lost required back pressure that gives your car power.

Check your maf/map sensor. Could also be your starter on its way out

The most likely cause is a bad ignition coil, remove the coil wire from the distributor and attach an old spark plug to it, have a helper crank the engine, and see if the spark plug fires. If the plug does not fire then the coil is bad. If the plug fires, remove a plug wire from a spark plug and repeat the process. If no spark then the distributor cap may be bad? Also have you ruled out no gas???

It's coming from your circulation vent,have it set on recirculation,that way the out side vent is closed,will cause carpet to mold underneath.
